BEST THING ABOUT IT: clean injectionADDITIONAL LIKES: light weight, quiet, little kickbackWORST THING ABOUT IT: no caseADDITIONAL DISLIKES/CONCERNS: lack of instructions with kit, minimum variety of nails availableWARRANTY: none statedCOMMENTS (Function, Appearance, Quality): This is a very handy tool for mounting thin items to concrete. Got it to be able to hang materials in my storm shelter. Was surprised at how easy it was to get a clean nail. Tried it in just plain concrete at first so I did not have to be concerned about varying densities of whatever I might be attaching. I did wear my own sound protection and glasses as I found those supplied with the device wanting. The nail in the 1st image below was driven with all four ‘adjustment’ screws in place. It was quiet, efficient and with very little kickback. This may be a function of the density of the concrete on which it was tested. The second example is from driving a nail into dense concrete in a storm shelter. There was a sizable chip displaced, but I do not see this as a big concern since one will mostly be attaching something to the concrete and such chips will not generally show. I have also had chips flake off while drilling with masonry bits. No where (that I could find) does it tell you what size nails may be used, nor where to get additional nails (comes with 50). It could use a case, but I notice other packages that come with cases are about ~$10 more.MOST SUITABLE FOR: attaching brackets and wood to concreteIS IT WORTH IT?: Given its uniqueness as a niche item, I’d say at ~$30 at present is a good deal.*PRECISE RATING: 4.0 (deductions for inferior accessories, lack of case and lack of information regarding replacement nails)RECOMMENDATION: If you need to attach items to concrete quickly and easily, I can recommend this device.(As always, I will report back if there are any durability issues with additional use.)PHOTO INFO (photos are loaded in order, but may be rearranged when finally posted):1) Example nail driven into retaining wall concrete2) Nail driven into dense concreteOn a personal note, I try to cover everything I think one might like to know about each product, especially something not covered in the listing. So, I hope you found something informative and useful in this review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. Good luck with your decision.*Rating scale:5 = definitely buy again, happy to have it (exceptional in several characteristics,)4 = probably buy again (decent job of doing what I need, excels in one or two characteristics)3 = perhaps buy again after researching options (functions OK, looks OK, decent quality, average life expectancy but no outstanding characteristics) (in other words, average)2 = would not buy again (low end/below average merchandise and/or service, but not totally worthless)1 = sorry I bought it the first time (poor performance in several characteristics, no redeeming characteristics)Characteristics considered: Presentation/Packaging, Quality, Craftsmanship, Materials, Functionality, Utility/Versatility, Instructions, Ease-of-Use, Comfort, Value.

Easy To Use And Reliable
I got this concrete nail gun to secure conduit retainers on my concrete basement walls. This tool works great and is a time saver over drilling and anchoring.PROS: - This tool is simple to use; just place one of the nail rivets into the end of the tool and then put it down where you want it and push. That easy. - I like that the kit comes with everything necessary to use the tool; it has the nails, protective eyewear, hearing protection, and Allen wrench for adjustment, as well as the tool itself. - Power adjustment (depth) is easy to change and set. It may take some trial and error to get the right penetration for your material, but it isn't hard to do.CONS: - It would have been nice to have a hard, plastic case to put all of the kit into when not using. I keep things together when they have a case, but if not, they get scattered to the winds in my garage.

Instructions not included
I’ve always drilled and screwed into concrete, but if you want to attach something fast, this is the way to go. This is a simple and effective tool. Everything you need is included. However, the instruction manual was hard to understand and lacked real instruction on how to use the tool. It mostly covered safety information. I had to watch several YouTube videos to learn how to work the tool. It is a very good tool, but I believe that a well written user manual is equally important as the tool.
