Easy to apply and feels soothing on irritated, sensitive, intimate skin
I'm in perimenopause and my skin has become drier and more sensitive and prone to irritation. I use another brand of intimate moisturiser already but wanted to give this Sweet Bee product a try as it is a different kind of product. The one I usually use is a water based gel-like moisturiser, which is quite thin and runny. This product from Sweet Bee is a balm. When I first opened the jar and saw it, I thought it looked very solid. But when you poke your finger in, it's actually very soft. You only need a small amount - it's easy to apply and doesn't feel as wet and potentially messy as my usual runny water-based product. It feels nice on the skin and I'm not aware of feeling it on my skin at all moments after application. It hasn't caused any irritation for me and I find it soothing applied to areas that feel itchy or a bit sore. The smell of the balm is unusual. I can't really put my finger on what the fragrance is - I was expecting something that smelled of sweet honey or something, considering the Sweet Bee name/branding, but it isn't that. Whatever it is, it's quite subtle and not unpleasant. The product description says you can apply it to your pulse points to help with hot flushes. This isn't a symptom I experience, so I haven't used it this way - so I can't comment on its effectiveness in that respect. But to apply to sore, dry, irritated sensitive intimate skin - I like it.I also like the packaging - it's better for the environment to use a glass jar that can be reused or recycled rather than single use plastic. And I like that many of the ingredients are organic. And I like that it's made by a small UK business based in Frome, Somerset. So - there's a lot I really like about this product and I would recommend.

Moisturising and soothing, but expensive
This is a nice cream that is gently soothing on sensitive areas. I like that it doesnt have a strong smell. You only need to use a little of it, and it helps if you are getting dryness. HI love that is comes in a protective brown glass jar (plastic lid) - however i find the price of £32.99 to be outrageous.

Contains nuts
I like the fact this hasn't been loaded with essential oil scent. it has a very faint but natural scent. It has a hygiene seal but it's just a sticky label you can take on and off. The main ingredient seems to be babassu nut oil. I'm not familiar with that. You might want to test a bit first before you use it. It also has beeswax, almond oil, comfrey extract and yam. It's manufactured in Frome. It suggests you apply this to the vulva and I'm pleased they're using the right term here. It also says it can be used as an intimate lubricant. I'm not sure that oil-based lubricants are ideal, since the vagina can struggle to get rid of oil and sometimes it can turn rancid inside. I'd always go for a water-based intimate lubricant. This is quite a pleasant product, although I don't know why they've included comfrey in a product that can be used internally since It's not known as one of the more benign natural additives. Other half is happy!
The other half really liked Sweet Bee's soap cleanser, and she likes this product too. In her words it leaves her skin feeling more hydrated, softer and less irritated than before and is a pleasure to use.Her biggest gripe is that the bottle is small - you don't get a lot to work with for the price compared to other products.Other than that though she's very happy with the results and is more than happy to recommend.

Soothing revive balm
This Sweet Bee inner wisdom revive balm if full of good ingredients, it is very easy to use. I have been using regularly for the annoying itching bouts and it really helps to calm everything down. It does a really good job. Very pleased with it,

Wonderful natural soothing product
This is the second Sweet Bee product that I have been lucky enough to test and it is again very high quality. I love the way that the products are in glass jars and wrapped in recyclable cardboard wrapping instead of plastic. It really shows that this company does care about ecology. This particular balm is designed for intimate use, although I have used it so far on the skin around that area, which can sometimes get irritated. I also tried it on my armpit skin which had got irritated after shaving. The balm is lovely. The scent reminds me of rosemary although that is not listed in the ingredients. The balm is soft and easy to apply - I didn’t need a lot to give comfort to the skin. It can also be used as a natural lubricant or on pulse points to help with hot flushes, but I haven’t got that symptom (yet!) so can’t say how effective it would be for those. The fact that the ingredients are all natural and organic as well is brilliant. I definitely recommend this balm.

OMG!- At Last!- Something that works!
Comes discreetly wrapped in protective paper, but not cellophane wrapped. There is a sticky tab between the jar and lid stating “Handmade in Frome”, which is meant to act as a tamper proof seal, but I found it easy to replace it as if it had never been removed. There is then no foil seal under the jar lid. (Minus one star, because you can’t be too careful in terms of contamination these days.)The balm is a greenish colour and smells faintly odd- none of which equates to the sweet bee or honey expectation. I wondered if this colouring might stain my clothing. Before exposing my sensitive bits to this ointment I put some on a rash on my face that had developed as a result of some other supposedly organic product I had recently purchased. I found it to be a great consistency and absorbed well. Now for the sensitive bits: I have been struggling. Back and forth to the doctors. Trying a plethora of creams, gloopy gels and stingy ointments, with the only thing only giving consistent relief being steroid cream. Well, that’s no good at all long term for the skin. I want something that works; that feels like me, that’s not medicalised. This balm is slick, easy to apply, not greasy, doesn’t stain clothing if you let it absorb first; lets me walk, sit and wear clothes without pain. I feel more human. Thank you.
