Worked great
I bought this to use during a vacation in Italy. It worked great first time and every time. Heats up quickly and boils the water. Use caution, the element is RED hot when you take it out of the water, let it cool before you touch it.

Huge size is too large for regular travel
Be sure to check dimensions before buyingIt is so large that to use it in a regular size cup is not practicalIt operates properly and heats water fast so only taking a star off for size

Piping hot quickly
I thought this would take some time to heat water for tea on the go but in less than a minute, my water was boiling and I could make my tea I'm quick time. Just be sure to Unplug and rest in a place where it can cool without burning the surface.
