Few tricks to getting it right
So, I had a flat tyre (obviously) and got this kit to repair it. Being the first time, there were a few lessons I want to share with my fellow DIY enthusiasts.1. It takes a fair amount of strength to drill the puncture using the threaded tool. Use it in the clockwise motion, applying force with each rotation. Once it goes a little more than half way (length of the tool), stop. Use the anticlockwise motion to get it out. Second time, try pulling it out to make the hole wider for the tong to go in.2. Use light lubricant to push the threaded tool in and out - instead of using the clock-anticlock motion. Push not more than half way in - move it in and out a few times, again to make the hole slightly wider. Radial tyres are hard and thick, so better make it slightly wide to be able to insert the plug. (I had to stop halfway here and watch a YouTube video to get it right - especially the lubricant hack)3.Push the adhesive plug half way through in the tong, and push the tong in till you have a centimetre or so of the plug sticking outside, and pull the tong out - the plug stays (should stay!). I inflated the tyre at this point, making sure I pushed the remaining plug against the tyre during inflation, just to be sure there’s no loss of pressure. That’s about it. Like they say, the taste of the pudding is in the eating. Tomorrow I will check the pressure again. Any issues, I will update this post.Cheers!Update 1: May 1st, 2018. Still going strong. No loss of pressure. 👍🏼Update 2: Aug 18, 2018. Still holding on! I am quite impressed! 👍🏼👍🏼Update 3: Aug 9, 2019. On the evening of Jul 29, I got a flat on another tyre. Used this again. Why am I adding this update? Coz 8 hrs later, I drove 14 hours straight to another city, and the damned thing held its ground! Yeah, it is good. Only, have a pair of pliers - as, if it is a screw in your tyre, you need one to wrench it out. Cheers!

Not made of actual steel but I must say it will be helpful when you need it, so not a bad deal if you want to save money, though at a local tire puncture guy you could maybe get the same quality item for way lesser amount, but I don't complain I am an amazoner
