These are incredibly comfortable shoes, however the toe area and more generally the fabric covering the top of the foot is not durable in the slightest and is fraying pretty heavily after 7 months of light walking (~1 or 2 miles 5 days a week). Additionally the sole has pretty much lost all of its tread in this time.This is with a size 13 shoe underneath ~230lbs of person (6'5"). I'm going to try the Wool Pipers and maybe the Wool Runners for the colder months because I do love these shoes despite the top fabric.

I purchased the Tree Runners from Amazon for two reasons. The first is I have owned this style before (twice) and have had great success with the shoes. They are comfortable right from the start and they last awhile. Second, the shoes were priced 30% less than you can buy from Allbirds.I purchased a pair of Tree Dashers (different style) from Allbirds on a recommendation. Based on my buying history I felt that I would have the same success. That was not the case with the different style. They were very, and I mean very, uncomfortable. I wore the shoes twice, after the 30 day Warranty, and Allbirds wouldn’t replace for another style… so $135 down the drain. My experience with Amazon with returns in much better so this problem may not happen with you.Bottom line is this… not every Allbirds shoes fit and perform the same. Wear them around the house a day or two to ensure they fit and are comfortable. If they don’t work, ensure you return within 30 days (or whatever the Amazon policy is) or you might be told, like me, “to sell them online”.

Incredibly comfortable. This is my second pair and great if you're on your feet all day.

They arrived but didn’t fit, and won’t let me exchange at the sale price, so just returning. Get a size up or buy two and return one, they didn’t fit with my normal size
