Yes it is, it is good quality, light weight and better than most.

Q: Will the case stay open on its own when on a flat surface or does it flop back closed? Also, I cannot tell if it opens 180 degrees or just 90.

It only opens 90 degrees, but I have not had it ever flop closed.

Q: Is that suspension? It doesn’t look like so in the pictures.

It is ok and a little bigger for 3/4 and fits 4/4.
