another good flavor by SPAM, pantry must have. Good cold or hot
Ooh, I really like the Korean BBQ flavor. Not a strong flavor, but it is tasty. Not sure if I would recognize it as "Korean BBQ" but it definitely has a good flavor vibe. I love cubing it up and adding to a rice & veg dish, or noodles (like udon). I like most every SPAM product. I'm a big fan of the flavored options, but even the plain is pleasant to me. I tried learned of this flavor after trying SPAM Gochujang flavor. I like these flavor profiles for noodles or rice dishes. Teryaki is nice too. I love Maple for breakfast sandwiches.I used to stock SPAM in my pantry for TEOTWAWKI, but once they started coming out with various flavors, I find that I like them all, and want to try every flavor that comes out. I also like that when it comes to SPAM, I dont need to each much to be satisfied. I have a hearty appetite, and for some reason it fills me up. I use it mostly as a flavor and texture enhancer to a dish. When I want some meat/protein but dont want to cook up anything special. I can grab a can of SPAM, and either add it in cold, or I can cook it up separately.

OMG these are like the Hawaiian Sushi spam rice logs.
Outstanding taste. great variety for everyday of a good survival staple. Add rice and dried chili crisp for an amazing treat. Have a shelter in Weekend with friends in a basement where no one leaves. You will all learn about survival and comfort. Try 3 parties a year, as a party get together for new ideas. And don't forget the SPAM.This is great when fried and glazed like BBQ burnt crisp. 5 slices per can yields 5 sushi logs. Use good sushi rice and add NORI, Seaweed wrap over rice log with SPAM on top. OMG Tasty. Not your normal survival food.TOO BAD THAT Hormel does not make this in Single slice. 3 makes a nice single meal with enough left over for a 2 slice lunch of midnight snack. Calorie friendly for those who dodge the all you can eat buffet's. For peppers, this is a go too item. It is so good that I will now try all of the flavored spams. Check out the 1/2 can spams for the once a year spammers. Yum Yum for the Tum Tum.Find the sushi kits for easy prep., or make your own from the shortie Spam 1/2 can (7 oz). Add TANG as a drink for that 50-60's throw back feeling in the VAULT.

Taste is strange.
After reading many rave comments about the Spam Korean BBQ and loving Korean food after having lived in the Far East, I just had to try it. Sadly, I was very disappointed. It has a strange flavor and does not remind me of Korean food.

This Ain't Your Gramma's SPAM.
Living in Hawaii for all those years made me a SPAM'er for life. I have tried various verities of the magical meat and quite a few of them were pretty good. Then there is this one. It is not bad, and it almost (sic) tastes like the SPAM of old, but Korean flavoring, man, that just doesn't work. There is a bit of a bite, and the flavor is muted substantially. I even tried the air fryer for a crispy texture, but that didn't work either. So, if you must, go ahead a buy a couple of cans for the adventure of it but keep in mind, somewhere there is a dead Hawaiian rolling in his grave next to his empty cans of SPAM.

I will be ordering this again!
I will be ordering this again! I was so happy to taste the spices used in this Korean Version of Spam! It's very close to the taste of the spices used in Kimchi only a bit lighter which is great for those who are knew to this taste!
