I filled it up at the Farm support Red Diesel, and to the bottom of the fill line it took 29.91 gallons. That's as close as a person could hope to getting true 30 gallons. The paint seems to be well applied, but the handle is a hollow tube, so not amazing. The other 'issue' is the thread choice on the fill neck. It is a very fine thread on a metal tube, and a plastic cap. So getting the cap an tube properly aligned requires patience, and turning in reverse until the cap drops a hair to indicate thread entry on both pieces. I do appreciate the plastic cap, although diesel is not subject to the same static combustion of vapors that gas is, but I'm guessing they do this because they make no distinction between gas and diesel when selling these for fuel storage?

Good quality... works as it should....I bought a large funnel that I use to dump 5 gallon cans of fuel into it....sturdy support to dump cans of fuel into...my excavator is a hard place to empty the 5 gallon cans into...removes 90% of the lifting 40 lbs of fuel and keep an eye on filling...hose is nessesary to refill my machine

You get what you pay for. It arrived, I did the minor assembly and looked forward to using it. The first time I filled it up a ring in the fill spout came loose and fell out, not a big deal. I go to crank the pump and it spewed diesel from where the hose connects to the pump. The hose clamp it comes with is not strong enough for the rigidness of the hose and can not get a good seal.Here's where it really goes south. I contact Vevor customer service, explain the problem and request new hose clamps, and after days of back and forth, they tell me to put tape on it... tape, to hold back slightly pressurized, leaking diesel fuel... Amazon made it right but, they shouldn't have.

Pretty decent fuel storage. Gets pretty heavy so make sure you have a way to lift this thing in and out of what you use to get to fuel source.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have a similar recovery tank for gasoline when I have to remove fuel tanks.

Damaged package obviouslly repackaged I will not order again

I added a nozzle holder to the handle. Keeps it clean, off the floor and hose away from the wheels when moving.

Parts are cheap. Seals fail quickly. Instructions do not match the product. Pictures were for an entirely different model and parts list did not match what was shipped. But, its cheap and all I can afford right now.
