Added a touch of luxury to my meal
I'm so pleased these morel mushrooms! The jar is a lot bigger than I expected for the price. They added so much flavor to the meal. I followed the directions to reconstitute them. Very easy to use. I felt like I was adding a luxury to my meal. I will be getting them again.

When you don't have fresh morels, these work very well as a substitute.
Wife grew up hunting morel mushrooms in the Midwest. These are like the black ones she used to find. Package says to soak in warm water for 20 -30 minutes. Wife soaked them for 30 minutes. She rinsed dried and used an egg wash and panko crumbs to bread them, and then fry them. She said they were a little firm when compared to what she used to collect. Next time she is going to soak them longer than the 30 minutes, 5 to 10 more minutes. All in all they were a good as an occasional treat. They were expensive.

I will order these aAmy
Absolutely delicious! I soaked them a little longer than instructed but that didn't change the consistency at all. I sliced them put them in butter, onions and garlic then served them with a porterhouse steak yum! My son who is a vegetarian loved them as well. He sliced them up and served them in a pasta sauce. I should have taken a photo of our completed meals but we couldn't wait to try them!

Wow
Wow....super happy with this purchase.....soak these in water before using and then carefully squeeze in your hand and then add to a sauce for that upscale flavor at a bargain of a price and this jar should be enough for a dinner and should feed four to six people

Pretty, but flavorless
Morels, like many mushrooms, vary in their usage depending upon whether they're fresh or dried. Dried mushrooms, at their best, carry a deep umami quality. Dried morels carry that plus a faint smokey flavor that rocks. These, I'm disappointed to say, fall far short. They're beautiful to look at, and they re-hydrate well, but they have no flavor or aroma beyond what you'd expect from a cheap dried white mushroom bought at your local supermarket, and none of the smokiness. Definitely not worth the money!

Marvelous Morels
We live in the Midwest where we can hunt and pick morels during the season. Unfortunately, we always eat them immediately and never preserve any. These dried morels are invaluable for recipes during the year. They plump up wonderfully and their flavor is intense. The price point in more than fair (morels usually cost as much as truffles) and they arrived on time. This is already our third order.

Good for dried mushrooms
These aren’t as good as fresh morals but for dried they are good. I rehydrated them and battered them up and deep fried them and they came out really good
