Nutri-Vet Guard+ for Cats - Flea & Tick Prevention Treatment for Cats 1.5 lbs. and Up
Nutri-Vet Guard+ for Cats - Flea & Tick Prevention Treatment is for cats 1.5 lbs. and up. The package contains 3 tubes of flea treatment. Each tube is a treatment for one cat that lasts 30 days. This treatment is safe for cats that are 8 weeks old and older and weigh at least 1.5 pounds. It is effective for fleas by breaking the life cycle and killing all the stages (eggs, larvae and adults), ticks and chewing lice. This product is easy to apply, just cut off the top and apply the liquid to the cat. I used this on my outside adult cats, and they have not had any negative reactions to the product (no hair loss at the application site or rashes). I am happy with this product. It worked well for my pets and is a good option for our budget too.

Flea Med
This product has the same main ingredient of the more expensive brand name. I have a stray cat that I feed. He was scratching constantly. I applied this between his shoulder blades whole he was eating. He only allows me to pet him while he is eating. It absorbed quickly. The only issue was that it was not easy to open. I had to use scissors. The next day he looked much better and wasn't scratching. There was no adverse reaction and he is a happier kitty. This works just as well as name brand and at a much lower cost.

Looks like it works well, no irritations, and a lot cheaper than others
While two cats are strictly indoor cats (honestly, I could leave the door open, and while they do look outside, they haven’t once tried to go outside), we do have to leave them at a cat hotel from time to time and they require (which is a good thing) for all cats boarding with them to have had recent flea treatment. The Nutri-Vet Guard+ treatment is acceptable for the cat hotel, and we’re happy to say that the treatment appears to work. That is to say, our cats do not seem to carry fleas (or ticks) with them, which is really the main importante. The product als does not seemm to irritate their skin, which is another important aspect. While the tubes can be a bit difficult to open, it is easy to apply. A major plus, to us at least, is that this 3-pack is a lot cheaper than some other brands. We’ll definitely buy this again.

No adverse reactions
I'm always a little leery trying a new flea treatment that I'm unfamiliar with. It is chemicals that will be absorbed through the skin strong enough to stay in the system and kill their intended target for a month. When that kind of product goes wrong, it's not a good thing and you don't know until you try. I was happy to see it is made in the USA which gave me a little more courage. I used this on several of the cats in our colony and there were no adverse reactions noted at all.

Good for feral cats or cats that can't tolerate collars.
I have a couple of feral cats I watch over and while they tolerate me and permit brief scratching before bolting, I would never be able to get a flea collar on them, even if I fool enough to want to.This kind of product where I can squirt it between their shoulder blades while I am distracting them is about the best option available. I can't get the entire tube out on a single cat, so usually I try to get two of them treated as best as they will let me.
