No, regular Farm Dust is not low sodium. We do carry a "No Salt Farm Dust" as well. -Norma Weaver

What is the sodium content?

Kosher salt and sea salt are the first 2 ingredients listed. 1/4 teaspoon is 210 mg of sodium. It doesn’t taste that salty to me but I like salt. It doesn’t taste as salty as seasoned salt and much less salty than Goys salt.

Is this the dust from for myers?

Hi - No, I don't think this is sold at Meyers. I didn't see it on their website.

Wow. New favorite blend.

Curious, I opened the jar immediately out of the shipping bag and dipped a finger. Delicious! I wish the ingredients had not been obscured by an unnecessary sticker so I knew what they were. An online search answered the question but I should not have had to do so.Update: I’ve been a fan of Penzeys sources for many years. I have all of their blends. However this Farm Dust has eclipsed every blend I own just about. I absolutely love it and it my reigning champion of spice blends. Best. Veggies. Potatos. Ever.

A GREAT BLEND OF HERBS and SPICES

I love to cook. This seasoning came highly recommended by a friend of mine who is a chef. The flavor is very different from anything I've ever used before, but it is versatile enough that it can be added to just about any of your family recipes.I've put it on chicken, pork chops, gourmet burgers, steaks, and even soups. I realize everyone has different tastes, but I would be surprised if you didn't find yourself using this and a variety of ways.Give it a try. What have you got to lose?

My go-to personal seasoning

I'm about to submit my third order for Weaver's Dutch Country Seasonings Farm Dust. I use this on everything that can use seasoning. The first two ingredients are salt (Kosher and sea), so you'll need to be careful until you get a feel for it. As for me, well, I use a lot of it. No fats, no sugars, no protein, no calories — just loads of scrumptous flavor!
