This was a fun read for my German language learning group!

Great book for English speakers who have the rudiments of German!This is not just a learning book, it is a fun book! Angelika Bohn has written an engaging and light mystery; I wanted to keep reading not just to learn German but because I wanted to see what was going to happen next.Many of the words she introduces are translated in an index at the end of each chapter, easily accessible by tapping on the word. Then she smoothly repeats them later in the book - you get learning-by-repetition almost without realizing it.Also, she uses lots of crossover words, English words ("teenager") that have been adopted into German. The idea seems to be to keep you moving through the text as smoothly as possible without forcing you to look up words in every sentence.Loved it and plan to get more of her books.

The book is really good for intermediate level German learners. It reads like a „real“ book, long enough and captivating enough.

4 instead of 5 because the English vocabulary is at the end of the chapter, not at the bottom of each page. But Angelika’s writing rates a 10…or higher!

Juni führt ein ruhiges Leben mit einem Job, der ihr egal ist, und einer Chefin, die sie nicht mag. Sie findet sich in einer interessanten Situation, als Briefe eines unbekannten Absenders, "GV", vor ihrer Haustür ankommen, die nicht für sie, sondern für eine Empfängerin "Victoria Posch" sind. Fasziniert begibt sich Juni mit Victoria auf ein Abenteuer und findet die Geheimnisse zwischen ihren (wahrscheinlich) verschiedenen und getrennten Leben.Dies ist mein erstes Buch von Angelika Bohn. Als jemand, der gerade Deutsch lernt, habe ich dieses Buch einfach zu lesen und zu folgen gefunden.Die Geschichte ist interessant genug, dass Sie das nächste Kapitel lesen möchten. Das Tempo ist gut für einen Deutsch-Anfänger. Und es ist nicht so lang wie "Krieg und Frieden" (es tut mir so leid, Herr Tolstoi)Es gibt einige schwere Wörter, aber jedes Kapitel hat eine Vokabelliste. Das hat mir sehr geholfen.Ich empfehle, dass Sie das Buch mehrmals lesen. Das erstemal, um sich einen Überblick über das Kapitel zu verschaffen. Dann lesen Sie es laut. Und dann lesen Sie es noch einmal langsamer.Ich habe das Kindle-Buch gekauft. Das lese ich lieber, weil ich das Wörterbuch schnell benutzen kann.Ich empfehle "Falsche Adresse" für Deutsch Anfänger. Ich freue mich, andere Bücher von Angelika Bohn zu lesen, während ich mehr Deutsch lerne.

Ich habe das E-Buch benutzt. Das Buch war unterhaltsam zu lesen, weil die Geschichte sehr interessant ist. Es ist nicht so realistisch, aber macht Spaß. Vokabeln und Definitionen werden am Ende von Kapitel angezeigt. Das war sehr nützlich für mich, um neue Wörter zu lernen. Ich werde bestimmt weitere Bücher von Angelika Bohn lesen.

This is the first book in German that I have ever read. As you would guess I am a native English speaker. The words and grammar style are kept relatively easy (but not too simplified). I have also notice a number of words keep coming up which really helps with the retention of these words. The story is interesting (but not a best seller story) and I found the book challenging to read. Will be looking at other books in the series by the same author.

Em meus estudos do alemão, já li alguns livros de Angelika Bohn e este "Falsche Adresse" é o meu favorito. Seus livros são redigidos em uma linguagem simples e de fácil leitura, tal como se poderia esperar de livros com intenção didática. No entanto, suas histórias são agradáveis e bem humoradas, com enredos criativos e finais sempre surpreendentes. Recomendo a leitura dos livros de Angelika Bohn, não apenas por serem um muito bom recurso didático, mas também simplesmente pelo prazer de uma agradável leitura.
