I’m surprised at what I just wrote
As somewhat of a knife snob, I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised by this one! I realize this is one of those white label Chinese knives that are mass produced in China and marketed under various brands. I bought this knife on sale for $49.99 (typically $99.99) along with a similar looking knife by a popular brand for $159.99. Aside from the branding and packaging, these knives are indistinguishable. I kept the Zennish knife because of the significant price difference. I am extremely impressed with this knife! The fit and finish is pretty much flawless. If the advertising is accurate, it’s made of a high-quality Japanese steel with a high Rockwell hardness. The shape of the bolster is similar to my Zwilling Pro and offers exceptional comfort and control with the pinch grip. Out of the box, it was incredibly sharp. It passed the tomato test and the paper test with flying colors and is honestly the sharpest chefs knife I’ve tried, and I’ve tested dozens. The blade profile lends itself nicely to a rocking motion, which is my preferred method of cutting. It’s also a little taller than most, which is nice for transferring product from the cutting board to the cook top. I highly recommend this knife at the price point of $49.99. I’d stay away from the brands that sell at $159.99 when you can get the same knife for less than 1/3 of the price. I look forward to seeing how this knife stands up to the test of time. Now go chop some veggies!

Super sharp knife
The media could not be loaded. I've used this damascus knife for a week now, and it's now my favorite kitchen blade. It's handled everything I've thrown at it, it's comfortable to hold, and easy to clean. I might spring for the chef knife next to start replacing my chicago cutlery knives.

Gorgeous professional grade knife!
All I can say is wow! This knife is incredible. It’s absolutely gorgeous, crafted with care and quality that you will immediately notice. The weight of the knife is perfect, it’s heavy but balanced and fits very comfortably in your hand with a solid full tang handle. The handle is perfectly pressed with no spacing and just feels so solid. The knife arrived to me razor sharp, with proper care it won’t even need to be sharpened for a long time. The quality of the steel is excellent as well evident in the beauty and ease of cleaning of this knife. This is not a knockoff Damascus laser etching, it’s a true multi layered process to produce this blade and you can tell!I have had far too many instances of buying misleading knives that claim to be Damascus and just aren’t up to quality. This knife rivals my Dalstrong and other premium brands! The value on this knife for a true Damascus steel hammered and sharpened to a razor is incredible. When it comes down to actually using this knife it works great. It’s easy to grip and maneuver, and the hammered sides help keep meat and vegetables from sticking to the blade as you chop quickly unlike smooth sided blades.I only have good things to say about this knife. Usually I would offer the other side of things and name my complaints but I love this blade. If there could be anything wrong with it I would say that it’s probably my heaviest chefs knife. I wouldn’t suggest it if you’re looking for something light. But if you want quality, and a beautiful knife that’s sure to catch the eye of anyone watching you cook, this is it. The Damascus pattern is authentic, easier to clean, and using this knife will make you want to be a better chef!

Be careful very sharp
I gave this knife a five star because although it’s very expensive, it is very good too. Be very careful with this knife it is very sharp.I showed it to my husband when it got delivered, he was testing it out on a piece of paper showing me how sharp it was , just the tip of it touched his finger and he cut cut himself. He’s ok, he didn’t need any stitches .Now he want another one of the knife, he says this knife is very good and it will stay sharp for a long time.
