I decided to use the ancient technique of charring the hemlock storage building I’m constructing. Charring drys/strenthens/prevents bug infestation/deters varmits and I think it looks good. I am going to paint it with Pure Tung Oil- it’s supposed to last 15-20 years. I’m 76 so I’m hoping that someone will put a new coat on for me.After you char you want to wire brush or take the heavy char off. The brush works great and saves a lot of time and energy- especially if you do both sides and edges. Depending on how much wood you are going to use, you want to purchase at least 4 other brushes for a 12’ x 12’ platform with 12’ x 8” x 2” boards.

The only problem I’ve run into is you have to keep tightening the brush access covers.

This tool was heavy for its size. The abrasive wheel disintegrated quicker than removing material. The fact that they send brushings tells you the tool won’t last long. Maybe good for flat metal, definitely not automotive.

Seems to be what I expected at a better price than the competition. I only did a short test as the aluminum handle extender wasn't drilled and tapped to screw into the body.Wasn't worth contacting the seller as I was able to tap it and cut a matching threaded bolt to fix it in less than 5 minutes.Should get some heavy use next week after the Holidays.

It doesn't have nearly enough power to turn the brush that's on it

It was rather inexpensive but I don't like just a nut and thin washer in the end no Auburn or locking mechanism seems extremely cheap way to secure large moving objects. Handle kind of a pain to get aligned up had to use x3 washers or it was turned to far or not far enough . Also you use a double end threaded bolt to couple the handle handle piece and grinder the hex end bolt stuck inside handle it's annoying sonilbhabe to use chanel locks to remove it or just leaned it in handle if I take it off I guess should of had hex on both sides so if it gets stuck u don't mess up threads trying to get it out. The guard is hella cheesy lol don't imagine it lartung long at all knowing me probably never really njing without it soon I tend to do the opposite of OSHA requirements to get stuff done lol. Oh and has x4 spots for locking pins n these guys only send 2 like rally guys 😔 x2 tiny pieces of metal to lock an attachment going 3000 rpm thanks 🤦🥱😞. I'm not even a safety guy n this thing has me wondering lol. The guard I don't care bolt what ever but to chince me on x2 pathetic lock pins like seriously kinda low dudes. But if this thing grinds rust might bump up a star if it sux going drop stars will update soon 🤞
