A++!I don't generally write reviews on Amazon, but I must say, I'm pretty darned pleased with how this electric rototiller performs. It was easy to set up out of the box, and runs like a champ.Today, I rototilled my small vegetable garden, a plot of about 35 feet x 20 feet in size, and this tiller did a great job of macerating the soil down to the 8" depth claimed in the product description. The unit seems solid and well-built, and although my soil had a lot of rocks in the 2" - 4" or even 6" size, it powered through the soil beautifully, leaving it very finely tilled. I did have one larger rock get stuck in the tines, and had to use a hammer to get it out. All of the other rocks I encountered were spit out by the tiller. Despite hitting numerous rocks (and I hate to say, even a buried brick, and a buried T-stake!) - the tiller performed perfectly and was undamaged by those objects.The twin handles worked well to provide easy control. Yes, the tiller could bounce a bit when encountering a very tough section of soil or one of those buried rocks or other objects, but was easily controlled. Much easier to use than a gas-tiller, and it had plenty of power, and never bogged down at all (except when the one rock got stuck in the tines).I highly recommend this tiller, and it is a great bargain!Photo included to show the size of my garden.

We decided to put in a raised garden this year and had to deal with a lot of nasty crab grass in the area we wanted to use. We bought this rotor tiller which was very easy to assemble, with only a few things to put together. My husband is 67 and hasn’t done a lot of gardening and he was very pleased with how efficient this little guy works. It’s perfect for what we needed and does a great job tilling hard earth and digs deep for eliminating nasty roots that are embedded. It has a lot of power, speed and great value for the money we spent. Would recommend.

Works great! Has a lot of power & breaks up soil very easily. Used for garden and a plot 10 foot by 30 foot. Excellent machine.

Arrived quicker than expected. Easy to assemble. Powerful and just as described. Used to till full size garden. Ran into some thick roots from an old tree and it didn’t bend or break the blades, it didn’t break the roots up much, but they were huge and at least it didn’t break the blades. Did excellent job overall! Is light and easy to manage.

It was a snap to assemble (handle & wheels). I was expecting a glorified power rake, but this is anything but. It's way more powerful than I thought it would be, and went thru dirt and basic ground stones with ease. It was fairly light weight, but still heavy enough to keep the blades under the earth surface as it went along. I hit some large stone, and the blades simply kicked up and didn't snap. That was a fear I had going into the purchase, but this unit set my mind as ease in a hurry. I tilled a pretty good sized piece of land in no time and this unit worked perfectly. Trust the 5 stars everyone is giving this unit.

easy to assemble, and lightweight. i have a small vegetable garden and this was perfect. it did not kick me around, i was not sore, and it tilled the dirt into a nice fine grade. i used it to also fold in lime and manure. for the size, very powerful. i would highly recommend this tool. storage is a breeze as well. folds up to the size of a dairy crate.

More powerful than expected. Works great!

My husband and I are older and as much as we wanted to restore our yard back to how pretty it used to be, we did not think renting a rototiller from the home improvement store, plus renting a truck to get it home and back, was the most affordable route to take. We found this rototiller on Amazon and were so pleased with how affordable it was and even more impressed when we began using it - even it could do it! It broke up the dead grass and weeds and the clay soil that we have way too much of very easily and the yard is now ready to add sod once summer arrives. We told our neighbor about our purchase and he is considering purchasing this for his yard too.
