Used to split the optical output from my TV between a sound bar and a headphone amp so both can be used at the same time. It works perfectly.Well made with a braided cable that is long and flexible enough to place behind the TV easily.

Perfect for my need's, as described and working correctly, the sound quality is perfect and I would say is value for money, it's plug and play so easy to use and fit for purpose.

Excellent… I needed to feed the sound bar with one input but Sky was needed and the BlueRay player and it works perfectly.

Got this as I needed an optical cable that was long enough to go from the PS3 to my soundboard. Cable was exactly as described this cable is thick and fitted perfectly into both the PS3 and my soundboard. Sound quality is amazing, you cam choose the size of the cable you want I went for the 5m length and this was really long and gave me that extra bit of length which is exactly what I was looking for. This might be priced abit but you get exactly what you pay for and the quality is exceptional for this optical cable so idlf your looking for a cable that's going to last you then this one is worth what you pay and the performance is exceptional. Very pleased with this optical cable.

Once again EMK astound me. I now own several EMK cables and audio products and they have yet to let me down. The build quality, the value for money, is always nothing short of remarkable. Cables and cabling products can be notoriously pricey for for very little, if any, acoustic benefit. For the majority of home systems, you do not need any better quality connections, cable or cable sheaths than EMK provides. It is absolute overkill paying for anything that 'may' provide better durability or shielding. Most home users are plugging the cable in once and never removing it ever again. Why then would you need a fully metal connector? A super thick and acoustically shielded cable? The durable plastic connector is generally always more than adequate. The braided cable sheaths they usually use is apt and, in my personal case, preferred. The audio quality is still there, it's basically just a cosmetic difference for me and when do I sit looking at cabling when enjoying music or watching a film/TV.I got this splitter to split the optical audio output from my TV so I could run one leg to the amp controlling my speakers and the other to an amp controlling headphones beside my seat. I was doing this via Bluetooth, but, there is a good example of a slight loss in quality.This splitter made me realise that EMK will, when they think it's required, upgrade materials accordingly. As you can see from the image I've posted that the connection terminal is fully metal. This made me appreciate EMK even more. The distribution packaging is always basic so they can pass savings to you. A fancy box or packet is not going to make your system sound any better. EMK clearly supply excellent value products perfectly suited for their purpose, without hindering performance.
