Appears to be well made
Great price. Installed, won't know how it works until irrigation season. replacing a worn-out leaky gate valve.

So cheap compare to Home Depot
At the Home Depot does not even available for 1.5" valve. And the 1.1/4 is almost $30 a piece, this one is $30 for 2.

As others found, not good
Ok, I though I would try as it says 316 stainless and 3/4 full port; was cheapest online but poor reviews.I'm an electeician, yes... but plumbing is my 3rd, maybe 4th trade. ;--)So, when adding this to my water heater as a drain valve; I used, on all the connections, MeGaloc thread sealant, than thread tape, then another layer of sealant. (This is normal for gas, water, and other NPT thread sealing circumstances. The thread leaked from one end of the valve. Slow drip as others said. What I noticed was, the threads were not tapered on that end, the elbow threaded right to the ball valve and never tightened.I cleaned it throughly and again did the above sealing procedure. Drips again, only from that side.I believe these are threaded improperly. To make sure it was not the 45 degree elbow, I swapped it with another new one. (Both bough from a well known brand)As one person wrote, they need to be sealed with a-oring. There is no seat in the ball valve for any type of gasket.I bought a brass full port from the hardware store, name brade valve, no leakes....Stay away, pay the extra from a known brand.

Leaky, but acceptable for my purposes
I water my garden using IBC containers. The ball valve handle at the bottom of one of my containers snapped off, so I used this valve as a screw on replacement. It does fit my tank but it is leaky even with Teflon tape. Probably 3 drips per second. Ideally I would’ve preferred it not leak at all so that I can fill my tanks and leave them full so they will last until a day that the garden needs water. In this scenario, I have to fill them on the evening I plan to water. In that case, the valve restricts the water enough to be useful. And it helps that I can directly connect my 2” draft hose for my harbor freight water pump so that I’m pulling from the bottom rather than the top. All things considered, I will order another for my non-broken tank just so that I can draft from the bottom and maximize my watering. I would not buy this if it was for plumbing indoors where leaks really do matter more.

Got rid of my water heater's restrictive valve and put this in for flushing and draining.
So far this is working perfectly. I grabbed a brass nipple to thread from this into my tank and a NPT to hose adapter so I can drain the water easily. Once the valve is opened the flow is awesome and I am now able to get a ton of crud out of my tank instead of letting it all sit in the bottom and cause issues. If you want your water heater to last longer you gotta flush that junk out and sadly the valves they include from the factory are only meant to allow you to slowly drain things. Even if my tank starts to go bad down the road I will be able to install this valve right away and have a tank that will last for years beyond it's rating.
