Extra protein
I bought this as had previously bought cartons from another brand to supplement my calorie intake as I am mainly on a liquid diet and very soft food for post major double jaw surgery. The cartons are quite expensive so was looking for a cheaper alternative and came across this. A lot of reviews said that the "choc silk" was the best flavour so decided to try it. It has not disappointed so far and the fact that its vegan (I need dairy free) but tastes so chocolatey and creamy, I was pleasantly surprised. It does say it has a grainy texture but I hardly noticed it and it doesn't overpower the taste so if that is what's stopping you buy it, don't let it put you off. It also comes with a scoop, I use about half a scoop and mix it with oat milk and it's so yummy, it is quite sweet though, it tastes like you're actually having a chocolate milkshake!

Tastes good
Really like this protein powder, it taste nice (even better with ice cubes or frozen fruit) and almond milk as part of my diet, this is my favorite brand so far as the powder mixes well in blender and always tastes good, not gritty either.

Nice protein. Odd powdery taste.
This is a decent protein powder for a reasonable price. The taste is okay, like a pancake mix, a bit chalky. However, this is a vegan protein blend with pea protein…so to be expected. Better with milk but edible via water. Easy drink to take, especially if in a rush.

Hopefully a good investment.
To be perfectly honest, I don't even know if I need more protein as the advice is so mixed that it's hard to know what to follow. On one side you have these gym types telling you that you need 200g a day (some these people ridiculously getting it from high calorie chocolate bars or bovine milk) and on the other side the science which says that around 55g a day is probably enough for a man. As someone heading for their 7th decade however I just thought that for the sake of a few pence a day I would try upping my protein to see if I noticed any changes. But as I follow a very nutritional wholefood plant based diet I know I always get some good protein intake anyway and I would never rely on animal products as everyone knows by now that these just aren't good for you. These shakes, for a first timer, are actually really nice when mixed with oat milk (nice too with chocolate oat milk) and I will be buying more.

Taste and texture of fermented c*m
I'm not picky - I'd drink diesel if it has protein it in. I've tried 6 different protein shakes and this is the only one to ever make me heave. Literally undrinkable. Taste and texture of fermented c*m with a slight bit of cocoa powder.

Powdery
Bit disappointed. This powder is like going back 10 years. Powdery and tastes disgusting.Tried with Greek yogurt and really struggled to consume. Tried shake today and not any better. Not sure I’ll manage another 64 portions! Explains the decent price mark

Smooth protein drink
I like this flavourless protein shake as it contains protein from various seeds and beans. The bonus is, it contains digestive enzymes, too. I use a blender (Nutribullet) to mix it. I put the water in first, then some berries and a scoop of protein powder. Whizz it for a few seconds. PS: putting the powder on water rather than the other way round, creates a smooth protein drink in seconds. Enjoy

Finally no gas
I've tried quite a few protein powders and this is the one I keep returning to as it is easy on my stomach - no gas or bloat.I recommend using a blender and milk to mix it as it's quite hard to mix and the taste is a tad bland with water.
