I'm using a wheelchair temporarily while recovering from surgery on my broken leg. I don't spend a lot of time in the chair at one time. This cushion has made a huge difference in my comfort while I'm sitting in the chair. It's fairly firm, with enough "give" to ease pressure. I even move it to my recliner seat when I feel the need for more comfort there, because that's where I spend most of my time. I don't know if this would be enough for someone who is wheelchair-bound, but it provides me with just enough support to be comfortable.

Sorry for the delay on the review. I just opened the package. This is the perfect size cushion for my wheelchair and works great when driving or sitting in a desk chair. I have owned 3 of these over the last four years. It has a removable cushion cover that can be washed. Somehow, though) the cushion does not feel quite as firm as my last three, which I still have. I’ll no better in a month or so. But I highly recommend this cushion regardless.Delivery was quick. Packaging was done well and you can’t beat the price.

It is good. but it will be graet if it was 2" tall.

This thing is great and solved a big problem for me. I'd been suffering from Sciatic nerve pain for years from sitting in that Prius of mine. The seat is firm yet gives enough for a smooth ride. I use it in my car. If you're taller than 5"7 and drive a small vehicle, it might sit too high, but it's worth ducking when I get in, for me to have no more pain after a commute.

Great cushion and not just for wheelchairs. Got one for my husband for Christmas not knowing it was a wheelchair cushion and it worked wonderful for him to have that extra cushion beneath his bottom on the couch and easier for him to get up from a seated position because that's hard for him. He loves it, so comfortable and cushy!! I borrowed it one day for my office chair because I needed the height to do a video, and what a difference!! So, I ordered one for myself as well. It is good quality, no slipping. By the way, it doesn't flatten out when you sit on it or otherwise and it is truly a gel cushion! It is well worth the price and so much more!!!

Very comfortable. My dad uses it on his couch now that he no longer needs to use the wheelchair. It makes it easier for him to get up as it adds more height. Much better than the regular one that was on his wheelchair in the nursing home.

I’ve ordered a bunch of this product for the convenience of having in various chairs rather than moving one around the house.They all flatten during use due to body heat warming the memory foam, but usually much more slowly than this latest one. They also lose support as they age.When sitting in the same chair this latest purchase becomes uncomfortable more rapidly than previously purchased Everlasting Comfort cushions.Unfortunately, you have to open/use them to find that out!At $45 each, you don’t want that to happen after the first week of use. Once it's expanded, you can’t easily return it!
