Great mug
I was skeptical but now a believer. It sits on my dash and desk without spilling and the beverage is at the right temperature.

Keeps things hot for a long time
The flap does have a really tight fit, but I think it's loosened up a bit during use. The finish is beautiful, and the nonskid material on the bottom really means business. I use this for tea, and if the lid is shut the tea will stay hot for a few hours. The wide base is also really nice for use on a cluttered desk, as there's really no way to accidentally knock it over.

Very happy with product
Very happy with this mug. Very hard to tip over and keep my morning coffe warm for hours. The paint is very durable. Great product.

Keeps coffee hot
This is a great mug, keeps coffee hot for hours and it can sit on an arm of a recliner and not fall off. Hard to tip over. I would give it a 5 star but every mug I have bought from amazon has been dented and the flip cover on the lid is easy to break off.

Solid coffee vessel
What can I say - it holds coffee and keeps it warm! I bought it for the office so I can slap this bad boy down on my desk with zero tip over risk. And let’s be honest, it has old school good looks.

Ahoy Captain! Ye Need This Mug Matey!
This has become my "Go-To" desk coffee mug.It keeps stuff really hot or really cold as you like. It is practically impossible to accidentally spill this mug, you'd have to place it on a bad surface. Rugged, the bottom stays put, wide mouth makes it easy to clean, it is well-balanced for carrying even with an armful of items. I'd be hard-pressed to go back to a regular mug now. I hear some folks say the Stanley mugs are expensive...quality and performance are relative. I feel like the two I purchased were cost-effective investments. If you want a quality mug that performs, this is your target right here. I should mention that I've also purchased them for my daughters for school and other pastimes.
