GeeekPi ABS Case for my Raspberry Pi 5 Review
I recently purchased the GeeekPi ABS Case for my Raspberry Pi 5, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my choice! This case combines durability and functionality in a sleek design that perfectly fits the Raspberry Pi 5, accommodating all models from 2GB to 8GB.The standout feature for me is the Armor Lite V5 Active Cooler. It keeps my Raspberry Pi running cool, even during intensive tasks. The installation was straightforward, and the cooling fan operates quietly while effectively dissipating heat. I’ve noticed a significant drop in temperature compared to my previous setup, which has boosted performance and stability. The build quality of the ABS plastic is impressive—it feels sturdy and protects my Raspberry Pi from dust and accidental bumps. The ventilation design is well thought out, ensuring optimal airflow while keeping the aesthetics intact.Additionally, I appreciate that this case supports the official Raspberry Pi 5 Active Cooler, giving me flexibility for future upgrades. The access to all ports is perfect, and I can easily connect my peripherals without any hassle.Overall, the GeeekPi ABS Case is a fantastic investment for any Raspberry Pi enthusiast. It’s functional, stylish, and effective at keeping my device cool. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their Raspberry Pi experience!

Quite good, but not convincing
Cooler looks good and doesn't block the wifi too much. unfortunately it's quite bulky and was too big for my application

An excellent robust case with heatsink & fan
Ideal for my Pi 5. It comes with double sided sticky pads that sit on top of the ICs, some nylon screws to fix the heatsink & fan to the Pi board, some metal screws to fasten the Pi board to the case and even a small screwdriver. There seem to be 2 sets of pads, I guess in case you make a mistake, and also 2 spare nylon screws. Assembly is easy, though there are instructions. The fan plugs into the "fan" socket on the Raspberry Pi and is controlled by the Pi. It generally only comes on briefly when you power up the Pi and once the Pi sensor gets above 60 degrees, which I find it only does if the Pi is running a lot of programs or calcs.

Careful with installation
I do really like this case and the cooling does actually help, and it fits really well HOWEVER don't forget to remove the SD card from the Pi before installing. Otherwise a fantastic case, there is even a removable front cover for access to the GPIO slots.

Missing screws.
Missing the screws to attach to the case, got double thermals and nylon screws for the heatsink thoughEasy installation overall

Fragile case which does not hold together very well. Fan is OK.
Arrived broken next to the SD socket and had to be glued back together. Lid and top cover falls off really easily. If you don't handle it, it does appear to keep the Pi5 at a reasonable temperature but I am not really driving it hard. The fan is quiet.

Be careful when installing the PI
Whilst I agree with others this case is a perfect fit for the Pi 5 with very precise cutouts, there are no instructions included with the case. Some may think that this shouldn't be an issue as it not rocket science. However, I feel I need to say this, DO NOT put your SD Card in the Pi before installing the board in the case. I did this and snapped the end off the card rendering it useless and an absolute pain to remove from the card slot on the PI. I am still unable to figure out how to attach the fan to the board and at the moment it is just sitting on top of the thermal pads with just the adhesive holding it in place. This is not ideal as under load vcgencmd shows the temp to hit in excess of 80 degrees. Just something to bear in mind before trying to assemble and hence my 3 star review.
