Handy for checking the temperature in your fridges and freezers.

I like the easy to read face of this fridge thermometer, which gives real peace of mind to know our food is stored correctly. The only problem I have with it is that I cannot hook it on to anything in the fridge, as it has no wire racks (as I had before) but all glass shelves. How could one fix such a lovely little fridge thermometer onto glass shelves???

It's fine. I bought two and they agree to around half a degree though I haven't bothered to check the absolute accuracy. I keep my freezers at -25C (which almost stops enzyme activity as well as bacterial and so extends the life of food before the taste changes), and with modern well-insulated freezers it's quite possible to do that without much of a power consumption penalty. Commercial freezers are kept at -35C for almost unlimited keeping time. Hence a thermometer that goes below -20 is good. The great thing about a dial thermometer is that it's easy to read, whereas alcohol ones can lose their colour at low temperatures making them hard to read. This one can also be used outdoors for easy reading from a distance. No batteries to fuss about!

It seems fine.I'm assuming that it the right temperature.Worth the money.

Cheap and the accuracy is a give away.. they do not give and good reading... I turned up my new fridge freezer to full and it still did not go in the green area for the fridge correct temp..

I've not rated 'accuracy' as I would need another thermometer to check this but I'm assuming it is.Needed confirmation of fridge temperature as my cat has diabetes and we now have to keep insulin in the fridge. Just wanted reassurance that it is being kept correctly.Thermometer is easy to read, colour coded so at a glance you can see it's in the correct temperature zone. Hangs just on the wine rack.

This thermal meter full bad. I purchased three. I put in to the freezer and waited 1 hour.The meter is show +12 Celsius. I checked my second freezer and the result is same. I purchased the digital meter, and that is show the correct temperature is the freezer. I checked the temperatura with two digital meter and the result is same.I not recommending this product.
