Jessica Acekit Lightweight 31.8mm (1 1/4 inch) Aluminium Alloy Bicycle Handlebar for Road Bike Mountain Bike

I replaced the stock bars on my GT Aggressor Pro with these riser bars. I cut them down to 740mm because the at 760mm (actually measured in at 770mm) they were just a little too wide for me. They really helped transform the handling of my bike, along with a short stem. I've been riding them on mostly XC type trails with some smaller jumps, drops, etc. This past weekend we went to a jump park. All was great until I went totally head over heels over the bars flipping the bike in the process. The bars bent down on the left side, but did not break. I am sure the force of me landing and pushing into them bent them, I am 204lbs. I took them off the bike, and used a metal fence rail to straighten them back out as best as I could there at the park. I continued to use them for the rest of the day and they held up fine. Am I disappointed I bent my bars? Yes. Am I disappointed in the bars themselves? No I think they held up well to the crash considering the forces applied to them. I'll be ordering another set. As you can see in the picture I got the left bar, right side of pic, fairly close without snapping them.

These Jessica bars are great value! They're light enough for an alloy bar, wide enough for a stable and controlled feeling on the trails, and supportive enough that I feel confident climbing or descending with them. I opted to replace my whole cockpit on the bike, and these are a GREAT entry-level set of bars.That being said, they can be found on the usual overseas websites (Ali, etc), but when I got them, the value here on Amazon was good and the delivery was quicker than other options available. The graphics aren't obnoxious, and if you like the little ghoul logo, you can easily find a stem that displays it through a window for you. Otherwise, it's easily hidden behind an enclosed stem cap.

Great upgrade for my Schwinn AL Comp 27.5 mountain bike. Fit perfectly and added a little more width over my stock bars. Easily half the weight of the OEM bars that came on the bike and positioned lower, so it gives you a better riding position. Highly recommend.

I got these for the 760mm width, to replace some 680mm bars that just felt too narrow once I got used to the 760mm bars on my newest bike. Pleasant surprise...I weighed the old 680s against the new ones, and these Jessica bars were 100g lighter! Actual weight was 278g. The rise and sweep seemed to match the old bars, so really, the only change was the width. I had already picked up a short stem to get more modern feel, so the wider bars complement that well.Have only ridden around in the street, no trails yet. But everything feels good so far. I'll update the review if anything comes up, but these seem to be a great choice for a wide bar at a decent price.

Love these bars, light, affordable, good looking flat and decently wide bars. Bought them for my 17 year old to put on his bike as he hated the sweep and ride of the factory bar. He lives this bar. Looks cool.

I've had about 3 bikes that I've used these bars on and I can say they're very solid and feel great. Anytime I get a new mtb these are the first thing to get put on them. Great value for the money

Upgrade from stock handlebar, pedals,lights,suspension seat post all purchased from Amazon from different vendors. My Schwinn Trailway bike is meant for city riding, all the products I purchased does give my bike a more aggressive look!
