I bought the mirror effect to add to the privacy as the front of my home has more foot traffic than I’m comfortable with. The film was easy to cut to size prior to application with some fine tuning when on the window. You need to basically cover the glass as much as you can with water to gain a good adhesion for the film to cling to. It’s not a sticker, so that moisture is important. The film is very forgiving and you can take it off, put it back on and repeat if needed. I initially installed this film in 2024 and 8 months later I had the glass in the windows replaced so has to take the film off and reapply to the new glass and it was so easy and straight forward. You have to be patient to get the bubbles out but once you’ve mastered the technique, it looks great from the outside, provides privacy inside and only reduces light slightly you won’t even notice. It’s very effective and the film is thick and doesn’t rip easily while installing which is great.Tools you’ll need - spray bottle with water, squeegee, scissors (for main cut down) and a craft knife (to fine tune edges when on glass)

Looks great. Bit tricky to put on as I had a large space. Works great can't see I side when no lights on I side.

I bought this because my living room window is overlooked by passers by meaning that I had to keep my blinds down all the time for a bit of privacy. It works really well, is very easy to apply as long as you cut it to the right size and is heavily frosted meaning no-one can see in but it still lets through quite a lot of light. Really pleased with it.

This is the first time I have given a negative review of an Amazon sold product.Despite following the instructions implicitly the film continues to peel from the glass. I used an Olympic swimming pools worth of water (slight exaggeration but you get the picture), the instructions stated the more water the better adhesion.This morning was the last straw and I am about to remove the film from each window (subject to feedback from Lifetree providing advice on how to potentially alleviate the problem) and throw into the dustbin.In my eyes this has been a total waste of a hard earned £65 and I do not recommend purchasing the product. I cannot return it as I have cut to size.Sorry to Lifetree but facts are facts. I am sure they can provide many positive reviews, I just wish mine was one of them.Watch this space for updates.1st update - The film peeled from all windows so I have removed and set aside awaiting help from Lifetree. In fairness they have responded to my original submission but only to request a review.The film awaits; either a second fitting or the dustbin.....2nd update 05/02/2023. I have definitely left this review long enough for Lifetree to contact me with help with how to make the film to stick to the windows. Sadly they do not appear to have the same attitude as me.Please do not purchase this film unless you are happy to waste your money, remember I did not realize I was wasting my money at the time of purchase. Sorry Lifetree but your lack of action means I am throwing your film into our dustbin this afternoon, totally wish I could have provided a more positive review. Your lack of action says it all. Too easily marked/scratched. This is not as good as I’ve used before.

I moved into a house which had very slightly opaque glass in the front door which gave no privacy. Anyone could just look in my hallway. I bought this whilst waiting for the front door to be replaced and I wasn’t expecting much but I’ve been really pleased. It was so easy to put up, I ensured the window was completely clean with alcohol cleaner and cut this to size. I made sure the surface was nice and soapy and removed the back sheet with the handy pads included and within minutes I had a high performing and durable screen over my window. It blocks so much out but at the same time I’ve also noticed the sun reflects off the film and illuminates my hallway more than ever before, it’s appearance is great and the light reflecting properties are a bonus.The only annoying thing was the bubbles, I spent ages removing them, but I am a completely perfectionist.Super pleased with this film, it’s so versatile I’m using it on other windows! Totally worth the money.
