BEST Customer Service Ever Received
It's indeed a rarity that any company can turn a one star rating into a FIVE, but this one earned it. I was extremely disappointed when my first pair of boots began seeping within weeks of purchase and rapidly went downhill from there, prompting a very negative initial review. WiTHOUT PROMPTING, this company near immediately reached out to me with an apology and make good offer. Was offered my choice of refund or exchange and chose replacement. Given the company's clear concern with my satisfaction, I chose replacement, to which I received yet another fast reply, and quick delivery. Having had time to evaluate the performance of the new pair, I'm very pleased to report that they have FULLY met my original expectations. Beyond repelling water, they're well made and easy to slip on and off. I have a high instep and these boots accommodate them very comfortably. While the standard height is fine, I'd buy more if this company put out a new line about 3" taller, making them true knee heights and putting them in a unique class.WELL DONE, HISEA! You've turned this customer around and set an example for other companies to follow in caring and responsiveness. Keep up the GOOD work!

Durable Boot
The boot is durable and is about knee high. You cannot wear these over another pair of shoes or sneakers, only socks, that is why I am not giving this a 5 (wanted something I could just slip over my sneakers while I was in the yard). they are steel toed, so expect them to be a little heavy. These were a good value for the money, I am not disappointed.

Good value and works well for me
I used these for 2 days as a volunteer for an organization helping flood-damaged homes in National City, and they worked well. Having read other reviews, I will attest that these boots run on the large side which was okay since I have wide feet. I generally do not prefer boots outside of work situations, so to help with this, I wore boot socks as well and I got along fine in those 2 days without problems. If I were to have any criticism, it's that that between the steel toe protection and the rest of the shoe, there is very little support structure to the shoe. Where this is noticeable is when you have to lift your heels more than 45 degrees or so while keeping your toes on the ground - the middle part of the top of your foot can get pinched or becomes uncomfortable. This is because the underside of the boot will lift and force that part of your foot to press against the steel toe support. This may also cause, over time, the steel toe support to possibly tear through the boot, but I will update that if this happens. In the meantime, I will just limit how much I do this type of movement. The padding that is inside the boot is comfortable, but as another review has mentioned, I agree it is not built for walking great distances or fast. I am happy to report that I usually get cramps in boots because of my flat feet, but I didn't have that problem at all with these boots.I would highly recommend these boots for muck work, which I used them for. It's nice to also be able to simply hose them off at the end of the day to get them TR clean. Thank you for reading!

Steel toe is a plus
I’m still struggling with whether to keep these boots. HISEA is a good company. I’ve purchased 6 pairs of footwear from them. Their warranty is real as indicated by how quickly they replaced a pair of boots that had premature wear. These boots I just purchased fit lengthwise correctly. However, they are so loose on the top of my feet that my feet move around excessively when I walk in them. The inserts on these boots are of relatively good quality, which has been a problem on some of their other models. I’ve tried adding inserts below the factory inserts. It puts pressure on my arthritic big toe, but the boots still slip. I think the problem is the boots are not snug enough around the ankles. I was hoping to walk long some distance in these boots, but I think it would be uncomfortable. Another issue I have is the top section of the boots are so flimsy they fold over. I like boots like these to stand up straight so I can easily slip my feet into them.UPDATE: HISEA reached out to me after my review, which was originally an 3 star, and totally resolved my issues beyond my expectations.
