Great heat gun for heat shrink tubing.
The heat gun is used for heat shrink tubing. Works well for that application. The price was competitive. No complaints.

Nice Little Gun, But Short on Cord
This has the feel of a well-made item. I have used it only once so far -- to apply a solder/heat-shrink connector to a wire splice. It performed nicely. I don't find it particularly noisy. It has a fan, after all, so it's not going to be silent. It IS a lot more quiet than my full-size heat gun. It took a minute or so to heat up -- not exactly fast, but good enough for occasional use. The switch is not located conveniently; that aspect of the design wasn't done with ease of use in mind. Also, the operation of the switch isn't exactly explained in the instructions. It's easy enough to figure out. Two power levels are listed in the specifications chart and it is simply pointed out as the power switch in an illustration, but "2+2" aren't put together. The instructions do offer many safety and use tips, though it is done in a somewhat meandering style (apparently by someone for whom English is not their primary language). I regularly find instructions lacking a lot; these are better than many that I have seen in recent years. If I have a main beef with this gun, it is that the cord is too short. The listing states that it is a meter (39.36") long. They must be including whatever wire is inside the tool's housing. I measured mine, taking EXTREME care to straighten out every bend and curl. From the point where the wire leaves the housing to the bottom of the plug (where it would contact the wall outlet) it was only 38" long. Even with the prongs on the plug (which disappear into the outlet), it's less than 39" overall. (Nit picking? Maybe 🤔 -- but if you say you're giving a meter, short as that is, then give a meter -- or say that it's "about a meter." It's only a little over an inch, but it's a matter of principle.) For someone who will regularly use it where 38" of cord is long enough, that's good -- no extra wire to deal with. For many of us, though, it means having to use an extension cord, and probably having to deal with even more wire, which can be a safety hazard. Having a 6-foot cord built in would have been nice. All things considered, aside from the short cord, I like it.

Good quality
It’s a great product. I wanted this for my crocheted wearables and accessories. I am sure this will do a great job. Haven’t used it on my clothes yet. But i plugged and checked the thing and it works.

Good tool for the price
Works great for hear shrink tubing. Gets plenty hot even in the low setting and the clip on shield helps control the heat from affecting nearby wires.

Great tool for curing silicone!
Excellent tool! I use this to help cure silicone when painting (I use silicone paint as my medium) and it has never failed me. It runs well, has two settings, and doesn’t smell like burning plastic after using it. It’s not super quiet, but it’s not obnoxiously loud either. I have used mine faithfully for several months with no issues. Would absolutely buy another one from the same company in the future.
