PULACO50 Watt Small Aquarium Betta Heater for 1-10 Gallon Tank

this is a great heater I've had it for a while now and it functions pretty well, easy to install and make adjustments

Bought this quite a few months ago and it’s holding up great. It heats up the tank perfectly and a small enough that it doesn’t bother the fish.

I have three small tanks; two male betas and a quarantine tank for the fish in my large community tank. I bought three of these heaters over two months because they worked great at first. Now, 5 months later, one is already in the trash because it stopped working completely. Another stopped heating this week. The next has to read 86 in order to heat to 78 degrees. Not cool and very disappointed.

Kept my tank perfect temp

I've had this heater for my Betta fish for quite some time now, and it consistently maintains a warm temperature in the tank. You can easily set the desired temperature with a button. However, I do not recommend placing it on the side of the tank; I found it works much more efficiently when buried under the rocks. When I had it on the side, my Betta fish ended up getting burned. It's also important not to remove it from the water while it’s on, as it will start steaming, which I learned the hard way. Aside from that, I think this heater is excellent and definitely worth the investment. It has been reliable, even after I mistakenly took it out of the water. I appreciate its compact size, as it doesn't take up much space in the tank, and the temperature display is a beneficial feature.

Good quality heater that keeps my aquarium at a constant temperature. It is easy to install and small enough to hide behind the rocks in the tank. The only negative is that the suction cups are not very strong, but this doesn't effect the product functioning. It has kept a constant temperature for months now.

I picked up this 50w heater for my 6 gallon glass aquarium glo fish tank. I upsized from the 25w to make sure it could hold up in New England over the winter. This heater can’t get over 72 degrees. I’ve had it running for over a week in my tank set at 75. The thermostat has never gotten above 72. My tank tests out at 71.8 degrees. The price was great, but the heater is undersized and not able to get to the temperature I need. The ambient room temp is 70° so it’s not an issue of it working too hard. Unfortunately I’ll be purchasing another heater to make my tank warmer.
