American Standard 738254-0020A Pressure Assist Toilet Lever, Packs, Polished Chrome

Perfect left handle + rod replacement for Sloan Flushmate model 501-B . The plastic thread had broken on the original handle. Very simple to replace with just four screws.

Installed in seconds and worked fine.

Could be better quality

I had my original handle and lever for 15 years .The wire had to be bent back into position every so often over the years.But recently it was being bent once a day and I ordered this replacement.The wire is literally twice the thickness and all new hardware was included.It took me about 10 minutes to install.Handle was also great because old one fell apart while disassembling!Amazon had cheaper prices than any other online store and arrived promptlyIn two days.love Prime..

This is a much heavier duty wire lever than provided in the original. Plumber advised that flush mate unit needed to be replaced, but on inspection I found that the old lever flexed too easily after years of use. Replacing it with this item for a few 10s of dollars fixed the problem without spending the 100s of dollars I would have spent if I'd followed the plumber's advice

The plastic threads on the nut & handle would not tighten … it keeps getting loose. He’d company coming & needed toilet fixed quickly so I resorted to using the old handle which is slightly different & now sticks. So not a great solution, but at least it can flush. No quality control.

Part of another review.Just had to heat it and re bend it to retrofit the tank.

Made my work easier replacing my broken pressure assist tank. Bend here & there, voila....
