Hi, what do these filters remove from tap water? And do they alter pH? Thanks.

They remove chlorine and chloramine but do not change pH. I only trickle the water through to ensure water quality.

Broken and wrong

Package came in sealed bag but after taking one filter out at a time and putting them into my set up, when I got to the third one I realised I d been given 2 carbon block filters and this one was covered in black stuff all over the top and also had split away from the top. Useless. Had to put my older filter back in as I’d already opened and put the others in so won’t be able to send back. Went for the more expensive ones too. Sigh 😔
