I compared these with some highly rated earbuds, no contest. The dynamic range is impressive. Lows all the way to at least 30Hz. Clean mids and highs. Comfortable. I use these to teach online instrumental lessons and the kids can always hear me, the mic is great. Hope Amzon still has them when these finally bite the dust, I will get them again.

I ordered these to replace a pair I've had forever and finally wore out. I use them on my home PC, mostly for calls and occasionally for watching videos. I particularly like the braided cable cord, and they sound good to both parties on calls. They fit very comfortably without falling out.My previous pair lasted many years, and they still sound great but the rubbery coating on the outer earbud started to get gummy and fall off. The new model is just plastic, without the coating, so they shouldn't have this issue. They are the same shape, which I prefer over the Apple style or others.I am not an audiophile, but I do listen to music occasionally through earbuds. I'd say the sound is about what you'd expect from budget earbuds. Maybe a bit lacking in depth. Perfectly adequate, not mind-blowing. Overall this is just a great set of inexpensive earbuds for your computer or any device that still uses a 3.5mm audio jack.

I’d simply like to kick this review off by saying: WOW!These Samsung OEM Earbuds with Sound Tuned by AKG are just a pleasure to listen to! They are transparent and although presenting with a flatter sound profile, it’s also a strong one with deep bass, forward mids, and crisp highs. There’s nothing fatiguing about listening to these earbuds, that’s probably owed to its high sensitivity coupled with its even higher sound pressure level! Being that audio is one of my favorite things to review, I really could go on-and-on discussing all of the technical aspects of these earbuds, but I’ll just get to the main points to keep the size of this review manageable. I also validated some of the key specifications and am including some photos that I took.Here’s what I liked most:• Appears to be in genuine OEM packaging that displays “Sound by AKG.”• Includes S/M/L silicone ear-tips that fit pretty well too!• Gold TRRS connector branded “Samsung.”• VERY light weight!• The sound was far better than what I was expecting!• No headphone amp required, but could certainly benefit from one!• 32Ω Impedance @ 1kHz — Measures very close too!• Microphone sounds exceptionally clear!Moving on, there were very few things to dislike:• This has a straight TRRS connector, but some people prefer it right angled.• The feel is almost “too” light weight.• In-line controls are Android only.• Volume could be a bit low for some without a headphone amplifier.As I said earlier, I could get way too wordy when it comes to audio, so I’m going to wrap it up for the sake of brevity. There’s A LOT to like here! A LOT! The price is more than fair as not too long ago the MSRP for these very same earbuds exceeded FIVE TIMES what you’re paying here! Everything that I’m seeing and hearing makes me more confident than not that these are genuine Samsung OEM Earbuds with Sound Tuned by AKG. We also need to realize that audio has come so far that some $20 “Chi-Fi” IEMs sound just as good, if not even better than some “brand names” that command a $200 price tag. So, I must simply ask myself whether or not my ears tell me if the sound is enjoyable. Ultimately, I found the sound to be excellent and at a price that is very much worth it!

This is an updated version of my go-to wired earbuds, for use primarily with my Galaxy S22 (the connector on the earbuds is 3.5mm, and I use a Samsung 3.5mm to USB-C adapter to connect to the S22; that is the only adapter I have found which provides clean audio in as well as out). I also use them with a Lenovo slim laptop (using the 3.5mm plug; no adapter).I particularly like that the sound is clean and crisp (it isn't distorted and it isn't muted at all). I adjust the audio characteristics of playback with the Samsung equalizer, which works quite well for my needs. The bass doesn't have the richness of earphones, of course, but it is impressive and tight for the small size of the drivers. I use the earbuds to listen to podcasts, classical, jazz, R&B, rock and pop.IMO, the microphone (which is built into the control on the lead for the right channel) is of particularly high quality, as my voice is quite clean and natural. These earbuds are perfect for phone calls. The control unit works well with the Galaxy S22 (volume up and down; and a center signaling buton for start, stop, pause, and invoking the Google Assistant listening function).The fit and finish of the earbuds is excellent. Any cord will tangle, but the braided cord tangles less than many. It is a nice touch that the package includes 3 silicone tip sizes. They are quite comfortable in my ears, so much so that I often forget that I am wearing them.I'm very pleased with this product and would definitely buy it again.
