Much better than the original screw on caps.
These caps are one piece molded plastic . The original ones were two pieces glued together and separated when tightened. Be sure to measure the threads as there are several different sizes. These fit Summit Racing 5 gal. Jugs.

Great cap. Lousy label location.
One of these caps went missing from the shop, so I raced (ha!) to Amazon for a replacement. It was quickly sent, arrived in sound condition, except.... The label identifying it was inside the lid. And sticky. And didn't want to come off.I soaked it for a while in water, and it kinda wanted to come off but not really. As I'm using it to hold a container shut, I don't want to close contaminants in with it that may ahere to the label remains.5 star lid, truly, but knocked down one star for lousy label location.

A little over priced
A little pricy for just a plastic fuel cap that doesn’t even include the hose. I had a non VP brand that looked a lot like the VP cans I had literally just bought and filled up sitting in the back of my truck and someone reached over the side of my truck and stole just the cap off the top. I wasn’t sure if this was going to fit the non VP but similar style can, but I couldn’t see throwing away a brand new can just because the cap was gone so I took a chance on this, it fit perfectly. I was torn about spending this much for just the cap, a few more dollars and I could have just bought another new can with the hose and cap, but I’d still be forced to throw my brand new missing cap can away. Had my can I needed this for been older and used I wouldn’t have wanted to spend but maybe $6 for a new cap which would be more reasonably priced.
