Will this fit a 1999 cummins isc 8.3? wix crosses to the 51748 from cummins lf3000.

It appears that this filter is a direct replacement for the LF9009, not the LF3000. Another truck site did not have this filter listed as a cross for the LF3000. Just a heads up, the manual for my 1999 Cummins ISC 300 (8.3L) says NOT to use an LF3000 filter, only to use the LF9009 filter due to its venturi type filtration to fully benefit from the bypass filtration section of the oil filter. In bold letters it says not to use LF3000, quoting "durability will be reduced be the use of the wrong oil filter."
