I love these!
I got these last year and have been telling my friends about them this year as we all were stowing away our deck chairs for winter. These just pop between the slats on your deck and the clip can go in the grommet on a tarp, or you can string the tarp with a cord and tie it down to these clips. I love it when I find a super useful gadget!

Not what I expected.
They did not fit into my Trex deck. Not sure I would have kept them anyway since they seem like a tripping hazard and could easily pop out.

Camping on a platform
Enable setting up tents that need guide lines to be fully erect to be set-up on wooden platforms with space between the wood planks forming the platform.

They can move with a high wind
I like the concept however a high wind can move them if they are not locked in well. They feel a little flimsy but so far they are holding up well.

Works great in a high wind environment.
We use these on our Trex deck to hold four swivel chairs in place with bungee cords. Before we had this product, we had tried simple s hooks, but not only did they come loose in any significant wind, but they would then fall into the gap between boards. Two days after we placed these easy to install product, we had 60 mph straight line winds for 25 minutes and the chairs and their anchors stayed right in place with minimal jiggling.Definitely recommend this product.

Works well
We used these fasteners to secure a tarp with rope over our deck furniture for the winter. They are easy to install, fit perfectly in between the composite deck boards, do not damage the decking, hold well and do not slip. Excellent product.

disappointing
They are to small in width. The spring is to weak cause them to unseat them self's in the wind.
