TOYOTA Genuine (16572-62090) Radiator Hose

Replaced my lower radiator hose on my 99' 3.4L Toyota 4-Runner. Marks on hose make it easy to line up perfectly. No clamps included.

I'm very much a novice when it comes to working on my car. Nevertheless I replaced the radiator on my 2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5 (3rd generation 4Runner) -see YouTube, ChrisFix and Toyota Maintenance. As long as you're replacing the radiator, replace both radiator hoses and the radiator cap. The hoses were perfect replacements. They don't come with new clamps so just use the old ones. These were genuine Toyota - why mess around with something that may not fit or be slightly off on the shape? It's not worth the hassle. Well, that was my thinking anyway.The worst part of this job - as far as hoses go - was getting the old ones off. They were probably original and didn't seem to be in bad shape. But I wasn't going to wait for one to burst. I really had to put in a ton of effort to get the old ones off. The new hoses fit and were not much of a hassle to put on. Just make sure you put the top hose over the fan shroud and rotate all clamps so they are facing away from any belts. These hoses are also marked at their ends - push the hose all the way over the male connectors and locate the clamp location over the center of that marking.

Direct fit. 3rd gen 4Runner. No issues.

This true OEM hose cost a few bucks more but I’ll spend it on this kind of stuff. Same with ball joints, gaskets, oil filters. 2002 4Runner with 250,000

Nothing I like more than Genuine Toyota Parts. Purchased this to complete my radiator change on my Toyota 4Runner. Works GREAT!
