Are you d/Deaf or hard of hearing? Do you wear hearing aids that don't have great music streaming quality, and you can't wear earbuds with them? My friends, this is the solution.I had tried a bone conduction walkie-talkie headset at a previous job and it had been a pretty good upgrade compared to the on-ear headset that broke my receiver wire and certainly did not help the asymmetry of my hearing loss. So I was pretty hopeful that a bone conduction Bluetooth headset would work, now that I'm in a role where everyone's listening to music all the time but I still need my hearing aids on.First thing I have to say: PEOPLE AROUND YOU **CAN** HEAR THIS. I tested it with two family members with great hearing and they heard it well enough standing a few feet away from me. However, working in a noisy environment as I do, it's no big deal. But if you yourself are looking for a solution that's silent to those around you, this ain't it.The headset fits great around the back of my head, and let me tell you, I have a BIG head. If you have thick hair like I do as well, you may find that you need to tuck the back loop underneath your hair for better comfort.I tested the sound quality a few different ways:- no hearing aids, no earplugs- with earplugs (included)- wearing hearing aids, but powered off- wearing hearing aids, powered onNone of these gave any reduction in sound quality, no muffling effects. Clear transmission through and through.They are comfortable enough to wear for the entirety of an 8-9-hour day at work. Unlike my hearing aids, which pitch hissyfits if they have to try and communicate via Bluetooth while my phone is in my jeans pocket, these have no issue with Bluetooth connection regardless of pocket placement. I'll say that they can slip out of place or go askew at times but usually not. Also, a huge selling point is that they have CONTROL BUTTONS!! 3 buttons on the right-hand side to play/pause, skip forward, rewind, and increase/reduce volume. An excellent feature since bosses don't love when you pull your phone out to mess with your music.I've had no issues with durability or quality yet and it's been a few months. They haven't broken, decreased performance quality, or even chipped their paint or anything so far.Especially if you, like me, feel a bit unsure about shelling out for a higher-priced headset like from the SHOKZ brand, this is a great set to test out if bone conduction headsets are going to work for you.

These headphones work perfect and still allow me to hear my surroundings. Whenever I go for my morning walks. I love to use these because I can still hear if a car is approaching or a dog is running out. The sound quality is great and you can answer your phone calls and people say that the vocals are very clear. Battery life is also very long and with a convenient USBC it matches my cell phone perfect

No branding at all on the device or packaging (other than "X14") so I have no faith in any form of customer service if needed.Feels like cheap plastic, reasonably comfortable but not quite as much so as my former SHOKZ Aeropex, decent audio and easy to setup and use. I also like the standard USB-C charging point (accessed under a small silicone or plastic tab) rather than any proprietary cable. Do I believe these will resist water more than the smallest splash? No. If they fail, could I purchase three more and still not have paid as much as I did for my SHOKZ? Yes. Audio quality is good enough for 1/4 the price.They just arrived this morning and I've listened to about 3 hours of audio, so cannot comment on longevity.UPDATE 5/20/2025: One drawback of the volume buttons also activating (on double press) "next" and "previous" playlist actions is that trying to change the volume quickly frequently goes to another media file.UPDATE 8/9/2025: When using this headset to listen to computer audio, it tends to cut out the audio stream very quickly during silence (almost like it's trying to save power when it detects no audio, but it's too aggressive), so when audio resumes a moment later, sometimes the first bit is cut off. Overall these have held up well so far, and I have even used them to listen to audio while showering so they resist water well enough (but your mileage may vary, it's your risk).

I bought these in April of 2025 and I have been using and testing before reviewing. Overall I am so happy with my purchase and would repurchase if anything happens to them. They are dupes for the expensive version *shokz* the battery life is great i charge them once a week. The sound keeps me going through my runs and I can still hear my surroundings. I am a single mom on a budget and these are worth the buy!

Edit:The company quickly reach us and sent a replacement. The new pair has been working perfectly. My dad is very happy with them again, and I really appreciate the great customer service. The open-ear design was comfortable and ideal for him and the sound quality was good. He especially liked that he could stay aware of his surroundings while still enjoying music and calls.Unfortunately, after about a month of use, the headphones stopped working completely. They first stopped connecting or started disconnecting randomly. Then they won’t turn on or charge, even after trying different cables. It’s disappointing because they seemed like a great product and my dad was genuinely enjoying them.
