My original greens have lasted forty years and are soft and flexible. Do these have the same rubber as Makapu that cracks and breaks after five years

I've used yellow and blue ones for about five years and the heel strap seems to be wearing and is a bit worrisome .....they won't ten years for sure....stay wet and salty...the drifter aka danimal....

Rubber may have changed back to Malaysia since earlier question. any recent/2017 buyers, please look underneath and see if it says Malaysia or China.

Very cheap material, very poor quality, and Amazon will not let you to return them. ($75.00 wasted)

Are these fins good for snorkeling?

They are in my opinion! I use them for everything-bodyboarding, bodysurfing, snorkeling, and freediving. If you are looking for a comfortable fin that will be a good overall fin then these will certainly work, but if you are just planning to snorkel then you could consider looking at dive/snorkel fins in particular..
