My greyhound gets so stressed having her nails trimmed with clippers. On one occasion she flinched which led to her getting her nail cut too low and her bleeding. I ordered this pet nail grinder in desperation as I needed to get my dogs quick to receed and the clippers were causing her so much upset. The grinder arrived quickly and in great condition. The grinder has worked so well . It's much quieter than I thought it would be . I use it daily to get my dog use to it . She has thick nails and the grinder has no trouble dealing with them . Over the couple of weeks I've had them her nails are already much shorter and she isn't stressed anymore . I used to fear the day my husband wouldn't be able to cut her nails with me holding her and offering treats . Now no more worrying, I can't believe I can now trim her nails myself with no risk to her or me . The savings also compared to if you go to the vets to get the nails trimmed. Our vet charges £30 for each nail trimming visit so you'd be quids in getting this grinder and doing it yourself. The grinder is easy to hold with 3 speed settings and a light so you can see the nail clearly. I wish I tried this years ago and avoided all the stress for us and the dog .

Worked really well, grinded nails down really well. Easy to use and are really quiet. Great product, would recommend.

Absolutely brilliant, bought this so I could do my 5 dogs nails at home. It's quiet and efficient. The light is handy for you to be able to see what your doing, my dogs actually fall asleep while having their nails done. Would 100% recommend for nervous dogs. Makes nail trimming so much more easier.

The media could not be loaded. Very good and easy to use. Light is really helpful and the battery life is extremely long. Good to be able to increase speed to get dog used to it. Worked really well with some positive reinforcement. Will be a regular routine for us.

Never having owned or used a pet nail grinder before and after a lot of research, I chose this one.Firstly the pros…it’s a nice looking appliance which appears sturdy and well made. It’s comfortable to hold and straightforward to use. The low buzzing noise which it makes when in use gets slightly louder the higher the setting but is not overbearing. The light function wasn’t of help to me as my dog has black nails but I can see how it might benefit others.Now the cons…I didn’t realise what a slow, time consuming process using the nail grinder would be. That having been said, my dog does have thick strong nails and this has to be done in several sittings to avoid stressing her out. So not a quick process by any means although I imagine it would be different for a dog with smaller nails.After about 4 months and having only used the nail grinder about 6 times, I encountered a problem with it seemingly losing power and the battery not holding its charge. I reached out to the company who responded to me the very next day. This would be excellent customer service at any time of year but even more so this close to Christmas! They were extremely apologetic and offered me a full refund without any fuss or quibbling. This really is first class customer care and because of this, I would with all confidence purchase from this company again.

Fantastic product. Easy to use and my dog who hated his nails trimmed worked well with this. He didn’t bite it unlike clippers. Quiet, quick, easy to use and great value.

Shockingly good!Our very nervous dog lay down (with treats) and happily let us grind each of his claws down. We’ve never used anything like this before and struggled with clippers or a scratching board before with mixed results. We are confident we’ll be able to keep his claws at a decent length and maintain them easily without stress.Quiet product, even on the highest setting which cut through our big dogs thick nails easily at a steady pace.Little to no mess, cleaned up easily.
