Looks good, bright, responds well to daylight variations......but will it last?
I am currently working my way through different manufacturers daylight sensing/dawn to dusk bulbs. All arrive in impressive packaging, and neatly turned out. All work straight away, and one or two have exceeded 6 months. As the majority claim an expected life of 25.000 hours something is going wrong. I have many ordinary LED bulbs in the house, and their life is impressive. I like them.My feeling is that sensing bulbs can be let down by the sensor failing. Do I have scientific evidence? No, just observing how these bulbs last in normal conditions over measured periods. As for this bulb. I give it full marks after its first week. I am pleased with it, and if it slogs through 25,000 hours of life I will tell you. Just make sure that if you buy one check out its life span.

Great product
The light bulbs were great value and are really good quality. The dusk to dawn feature really works with a good bright light.

They last well and the light is a nice warm tint.
Mine lasted 3 years before it needed replacing, which is pretty good considering it was out in all weathers. It just started flashing one night so I replaced it. Great for carriage lamps when you don't want to have to turn them on and off manually. They are quite bright though, I would have preferred it to have been a bit darker for overnight.

Bright
I wanted a dusk to dawn light in my recessed porch as it’s on the side of the house. It’s been in use around two months and is working fine. On dull days it stays on for an hour or two, even though the porch is south facing. It is also very bright at night. I’m not complaining: it’s LED so is energy saving, but I might have gone for a lower lumens had I realised it would shine through the glass front door AND opaque glass internal doors - basically I’ve had to buy a black out curtain for the front door to cut it down. Also beware if you are using it with a flat ceiling light fitting - ie the hubcap style ones you see in bathrooms - as when I went to buy one, all but one were too shallow to accommodate the bulb.

Solidly reliable
These seem just about perfect. In our porch they turn on exactly when they should (triggered by movement, only after dusk-dawn), and are impressively reliable. The occasional false trigger is caused by cats and foxes within about 3m. Ours has been in every-day use for a couple of years. 10/10

The lazy man's bulb
Great bulbs and work as expected. I've read some reviews complaining that they don't work indoors, unfortunately these are outdoor use only and work very well.

Dawn - Dusk lightbulbs
The lightbulbs are good in every respect except that they come on quite early before dusk actually falls. I suppose it’s something to do with the sensitivity of the light sensors. Other than that they are a good price, very bright and I’m very satisfied.
