It works exactly as required and keeps our front door lit at night. Unfortunately the first one failed after a year and now on the second one. I would expect yeses off life so somewhat dissapointed with my choice.

Working as it should, no problem with fitting, the brightness is just about perfect and a great delivery.

Great light that comes on sentence if dark with a storm. The last bulb was placed in the lamp in February and had just needed replacing. Excellent value, excellent piece of mind.

Great product and saved me having to go and buy a couple of new PIR lights for the garden after the sensors all seem to have died. These have been especially good during the winter months with it getting dark quite so early - my dog has a huge enclosure / kennel outside whilst i'm at work and I had wanted a light coming on for her so she wasn't sat in the dark for 2 hours before i get home. These worked perfectly for that. I do switch them off at night as I don't need them on dusk til dawn, so long as i remember to flick the switch back on it the morning, they come on as it goes dark in the late afternoon no problem. I also tried two inside my house in the hallway for the same reason, just so i wasn't coming in to a dark entrance way, however there doesn't seem to be enough available natural light in the hall for the sensor to detect and therefore they are just 'on' all the time if the switch is on, so I've taken them out and will keep them as spares to replace the garden lights as an when needed. Overall a great solution, the light is also warm white which I wanted as I dislike the white light versions, and, these are being used within cream, frosted, fully enclosed glass lampshades without the opacity of the shade having any effect on the bulbs sensor success. Ideal!

I am delighted to be the first reviewer of this item because the bulbs have exceeded my expectations. I have installed both inside hanging lanterns outside the house. One of these is suspended high up in a porch, where it is in shadow during the day. Nevertheless, the light sensors have not been fooled and the bulb comes on at dusk and goes off at dawn, just as I hoped. I think the dual sensors must help. In my opinion these bulbs are great value for money and I recommend them. Fit and forget! Edit (November 2018): I am disappointed to report that two of the four bulbs I purchased failed after less than 1000 hours illuminated use. The suppliers claim 25,000 hours. One star removed. Edit (July 2019): Well, another 2 have failed within 2000 hours use. Amazon customer services made contact with the supplier, Wonlamp, who quickly contacted me by email and replaced them without charge. The failures are annoying but the customer service is excellent. I still recommend them.
