Q: Do these open at all to clean?

No they don’t! They also have tiny screws that rust and the paint for the eyes come off. I do not recommend buying.

Q: Will the color of these baby bath toys fall off?

The color started to come off the first time I used. I'll be returning it as it is a hazard for my baby.
