Perfect for my laser cutter
I recently bought a laser cutter and it came with some cheap safety glasses. Dealing with lasers you need to have the Dual Wave 532+1064nm protection, or you're going to have vision issues down the road. They fit comfortably over my glasses, and the neck cord is a great way to hang them when not being used. Highly recommend.

Best Investment EVER! Small price to pay for eye health! Wonderful protection!!
At first I was a bit upset about the price, but like one of the reviews said before me, you can't put a price on health and safety. They are wonderful in that they don't interfere with my regular glasses. They basically sit on your forehead so you can still wear your regular glasses. SO HAPPY!

Not a good choice for people with long hair
They may protect my eyesight, but never have I had glasses that catch and pull out my hair like these do.

Professional Grade Filtering
The first thing that impresses me about this JILERWEAR product is that the Optical Density (OD) ratings, by wavelength, are etched right on the side. For example, 532nm and 1064nm are both absorbed at OD6+ (just 0.0001% transmission). There is also a clear wavelength absorption graph in the listing. This degree of specificity is the difference between professional grade glasses that actually offer effective eye protection and cheap glasses that offer minimal filtering. The listing indicates that these glasses are made of PC (which I presume means polycarbonate) and that they are impact-resistant. Given that most impact-resistant safety glasses are made of polycarbonate, this seems very reasonable, BUT be aware that these glasses are not labelled as being ANSI Z87-rated (“Z87” labelling is a requirement of the standard). Generally, that’s not a deal-breaker, unless your workplace has a PPE requirement for Z87 compliance. The construction of these glasses seems to be very good, while still maintaining light weight. I like the molded-in side shields on the oversize lens, which fits comfortably over my prescription eyeglasses. The included case is handy and protects them from getting scratched (PC will scratch). The two-piece adjustable temples are also appropriately flexible and soft for a comfortable fit.
