I have so many of these
If you're laser etching, you need a stash of these at all times. You can use them to protect your laser's bed, you can test settings, they make great business cards, excellent for test burns, they are just all around useful. I've even cut out earrings for girls I know out of them.Something to keep in mind is that they are sharp around the edges, so you might need to sand them down if you want to make business cards. I'd pay extra if the maker of these cards could round those edges for me.Also you need to MAKE CERTAIN you remove that plastic film! Just scratch a corner and you should be able to pull up enough to pull the film off easily in one go.Never pay more then 50 cents each for these. You'll be blowing through ALOT of these things!

One of my best purchases ever!
I love the quality of the cards. I Love the thickness, and smooth feel of the stainless steel, great chrome shine color, also for the value it's my only choice to buy from this supplier. Thanks for always getting my orders right and well worth the money spent! Great Job Thank You

Make sure you remove the plastic before laser engraving
When I first opened the package I was a bit upset and going to leave a bad review. It looked like most of the plates were scratched. It wasn't until I started calibrating my laser on these that I realized they shipped with a plastic coating, and only the coating had the issues. The actual material is great!I got the 0.5mm version and is great for me to do some testing with, but if going to use for business card type of thing, might want a thinner one.I did a 2 pass color test with my fiber laser and couldn't be happier. However, make sure you have a way to clamp it down as the heat from the laser did have it warp a bit that will effect the color output.

Not a good product
Engraver warps metal, too thin, just taking the plastic off bent the cards. Some came bent. They work okay. Size is just bigger than the normal business cards, and way more rough. 2/10 would not buy again. Way too expensive for these

Great blanks.
Excellent cards, thick, brushed finish on both sides and protective foil on both sides. Very pleased with quality.

Nice stock, but warps under heat
I bought these for use with my xtool F1 and found that anything over 55% power when using for heat etching warps the metal at this thickness up to 1/4 inch off of a flat plane. Not sure if that would improve by laying on a wet surface to counter act the warping, or if it will affect the colors the laser produces on the steel. Would recommend a thicker template if you want to use for this purpose. At 90% power the shape you are engraving warps into the metal.

I would have given this product 5 starts, but..
The 304 stainless is as stated, but the quality of the punching leaves a bit to be desired (most likely dull punch/die combination). The corners are all slightly deformed from the punching process, this is indicative of dull punches/dies or improper setup of the machine doing the work (yes, I did used to work in a shop where NC punching was done and flaws like this would have never passed our QC process). They are serviceable after sandwiching in between a couple of 1/8" stainless plates and taking a brass hammer to them, but I should not have to do that kind of post processing to get flat blanks. These were purchased to make high end laser engraved business cards, so perfection counts. Post processing or not, I will most likely be buying them again when the need arises.
