AmeriLitefor 2006-2009 Toyota 4Runner LED Tube Bar Projector Black Replacement Headlights Pair - Passenger and Driver Side

Installed these following YouTube video for replacing headlamps. Took me about 2 hours going slow and methodical. Note, most of my 19-year old body mount clips were dry-rotted and broke when I removed them, so be prepared to replace those.One of the two boxes inside the main shipping box has new gaskets that the manufacturer notes must be installed to retain the warranty. I didn’t find them until I had already installed the other side, and when I tried to place them over the turn signal light holder, the fit was way too tight and I couldn’t get them to seal. Ended up putting some dielectric grease on the old ones that are slightly slimmer and just reusing them.Another thing to note, where the marker lights would normally go is the LED side marker and white running light LED connection. Once you verify the polarity of the lights, don’t forget to tuck the wire into the hole and insert the light-gray connector for the old side marker or you will have a large moisture entry hole. I also put dielectric grease on this old gasket and reused it.All in all, looks clean, I like the black housing as opposed to the OEM chrome, and wasn’t expensive (~1,000-1250) like some custom build LED options out there. The lenses are super clear and everything works as intended. Now just need to adjust the beam height as it is rather high compared to OEM.Old vs new photos attached.

I am BEYOND impressed with the quality of these lights. I get compliments on them all the time, the light output is great with LED replacements. They look fantastic and are waterproof. I ran them in snow and tons of automatic car washes with no issues! If you’re thinking about buying these and aren’t sure about the quality, BUY THEM, they are 100% worth it. I waited 3 months to write this review

Muy bonitos

Got these for my ‘06 4Runner sport V8. Despite Amazon saying they fit the vehicle, I don’t believe they will fit a Sport model.Cons:- no place to connect running light wires to the assembly- LED running lights didn’t work. At all. In any mode- light pattern is weird and partly obstructed, see photo- blinker light acted as the running light too (which is fine, but not as advertised)- no wiring diagram included in the box, and company refused to provide one when askedPro:- amerilite customer service was helpful in the return process when Amazon wanted the lights mailed back within a couple days of the return being initiated and I couldn’t get the headlights replaced in that time- install took less time than manufacturer says it would - 2ish hrs vs 3+

I like the look and the "lightbar" style running lamp. However, as correctly stated by an earlier reviewer, there is not a compatible plug on your 4th Gen wiring harness to plug the "lightbar" style running lamp into. So, you'll need to cut the green and white wires coming off of your wiring harness, and then cut the plug off the green and white wires on the light assembly, and wire them up manually. It's not difficult, but the seller / manufacturer should not sell this as "plug and play," as it simply is not.
