OriginalMineral Detox Shampoo 350 ml

I've got colour processed hair that can be very dry at the ends but oily at the roots. I've struggled for years to find a shampoo that suits my hair - then I read about this in a review. It is a beautiful shampoo - it makes you hair feel squeaky clean but without stripping all the goodness out unlike most other detox shampoos, and it smells amazing. I don't need to use conditioner afterwards and it hasn't affected my colour at all. Worth every penny of the money as a little goes a very long way.

The shampoo comes in a very stylish bottle, obviously designed to appeal to both men and women.Using the product, the first thing one notices is the very refreshing minty fragrance, the shampoo lathers well and makes your hair 'squeaky-clean' very quickly. Indeed I found I only needed one wash, without the usual repeat lather, and my hair felt clean and fresh for a day or so longer than with my usual brand. Good results too, nice shiny hair!The initial financial outlay for a bottle of this shampoo may seem expensive, but a little goes a very long way and it will last for weeks.Very impressed with this shampoo, highly recommended.

Having used this for a couple of weeks now I can say it certainly delivers on keeping hair shiny and manageable. I like the fact that it doesn’t completely strip the hairs natural oils, so your hair doesn’t feel over-dried and strawlike after washing. That definitely helps with regular washing, so if you’re doing it daily it shouldn’t be a problem with this shampoo. I can see why it’s positioned at "gym junkies"… swimmers and surfers will probably find they like this too.It’s quite bracing to use, with a pretty powerful mint scent and menthol effect. The bottle is funky and well-designed.I usually use Aussie brand shampoo, which I love and swear by. (OM is Australian-made too, oddly enough. What is it with Australians and shampoo? They’re masters with the stuff) At current prices you could get five bottles of Aussie for the price of one OriginalMineral. That’s a bit crazy really, and the crux of why I can’t give this 5-stars.Drop the price – a lot – and OM have got a contender for me, but as it stands, not so much.

I cannot in anyway fault the quality of this shampoo, or it's ability to to leave hair feeling completely squeaky clean.The only thing that makes me knock a star off is the price. For something that could potentially be used as a daily remedy it runs out very quickly.If you can afford to buy it regularly... do it. It's fantastic. I use styling products in my hair and although it says to do a repeat wash after, my hair feels perfect just after one wash.

Started using this shampoo and to be honest I haven't noticed a great difference in how smooth my hair feels. To me it doesn't seem much better than stuff like Treseme or Pantente. Also at nearly £25 a bottle I am pretty sure you could find something cheaper and better value for money.
