Brooks England Men's Flyer Leather Saddle

i bought this saddle for my cube cross 500 e bike first impression was comfort i am still breaking it in the saddle will shape over time i only use the e bike in the summer months so it may take years to break it in you need to dab brooks proof hide before use to keep the leather in tip top condition , its weakness is the rain as in getting the saddle wet but neither do i i use a cover when im not on the saddle its minor for the comfort you get from it this saddle should last a lifetime , also forgot to mention the most important bit the springs are really firm and do not bounce when cycling just right cushion for hard jolts , to sum it up most comfortable saddle you can buy handmade in England and not from china

Those leather Brooks saddles become very comfortable. Not bad to start with, but they just get better and better as the leather forms to your shape.

If you're thinking of buying a brooks saddle just do it. Comfortable from day one. This design cannot be bettered it is supremely nice. Unless you are competing in the tour de France don't worry about the weight as the comfort is far more important than being perched on a nasty piece of black plastic. Utterly brilliant.

What's more to be said, one of the best saddles out there with a long history. I just returned to cycling and bought a second hand bike which had a thin gel racing seat on it - after forty minutes I had to walk, so uncomfortable. Brookes seat ordered and fitted, now I can cycle all day.Easy to fit this saddle and very comfortable from day one. Very happy cyclist.

It broke after a relatively short time and because I forgot to register my ownership/purchase brooks ignored my complaint. Nevermind. Caveat emptor. Should have looked at the chinesium option rather the monkey metal brooks prefer to use.

Very comfortable saddle. Massive improvement over saddle that came with bike. This one is a bit narrower than saddle it replaced as riding position is more semi-upright than full upright and makes a big difference. Could immediately feel the springs doing their job and after a few weeks of use can feel the leather moulding itself to my shape. So very happy

A quality bike saddle in a traditional style, expensive but worth every penny.

medical problems meant i needed a new seat.bought a highly recommended seat which was rubbish, tried a couple of hundred miles but can not get along so it's now on ebay!I've had Brooks B17 on MTB for years and is most comfortable saddle everwhich is why I bit the bullet and bought this for my road bike, proof hide and olive oil on bracket soon stops squeek, even out of box it's more comfortable than my other saddles, looking forward to getting many more years and miles out of this one.Don't be seduced by unrealistic claims from modern shapes and materials, brooks molds to you not the other way around.I won't waste my money again, Brooks is the only saddle for me

The springs are incredibly strong; don't seem to do much to dampen but you'd be surprised - they seriously improve comfort on rough pavement and gravel. Expensive, but worth it.

I use this on my mtb that I also use to cruise around town. Super comfortable to use right out of the bow before the break in, look forward to it being more comfortable as I break it in. Make sure you have or buy some of the brooks proofide saddle conditioner!

Wer Brooks kennt weiß Bescheid . Der Umstieg vom B17 ohne Federn war enorm. Vor allem bei meinen Radreisen von mehreren Tausend Kilometern.Aber Verpackung ein Desaster. Plastiktüte und Leichter Karton ,das wars. Brooks versendet normal in Originalkartons. Wirkt wie Kundenretoure.
