Guess Originals Type 1 Bergamot and Vetiver for Unisex - 3.4 oz EDP Spray

Get lots of compliments, got all three in the series and they all are really nice for any occasion for a great price. Very impressed by Guess on these scents.

I'm very sensitive to a lot of smells, and anything too flowery or overpowering will inevitably give me a migraine. I was really excited to try this unisex scent because I was hoping it would be lighter on the florals than women's perfume, and it definitely is!I love the scent, it's very unique, and it wears well throughout the day. It's obviously going to be different depending on an individual's own body chemistry, but I thought the top notes were nicely spicy, airy, and citrusy, while the bottom are earthy and grounded. It's a great mix throughout the day!

Thought this would similar to the bath & Body hand soap white birch and vetiver and not even close.

It is a very clean scent with no undertones of wood and or patchouli/ musk, what you would expect from a male fragrance and or a more Fall based fragrance. Although the base is patchouli don't let that detour you. It is the base of many many fragrances. It feels lighter and not over powering. I like this! There was a real surge in these types of fragrances in the eighties and if you are like me perfume and cologne in general is unisex anyway. It's all a matter of taste and what you prefer.I also like the magnetic top.At any rate if you prefer a mild clean fragrance this will be one you will want to add to your selection. I think you really get a pleasant and light aroma that lingers and feels really clean and vibrant. Age range seems neutral, it's not a mature fragrance and could easily be a teen fragrance. Check it out.. I don't think you will be disappointed provided you like fragrances on the lighter, citrus side that can easily be worn by most males and females

Advertised as "unisex", so both my wife and I tried it. It's a unique fragrance, nothing like I've smelled on a man or woman before. Its main scent is supposed to be from bergamot oil. Bergamot is a citrus grown for its oil, which happens to also be the main flavoring of Earl Grey Black Tea. Well, I have that tea, but this perfume doesn't have any hint of the same. On me, it has sort of a "technical", soap-like nuance, vs. the "citrussy" or "spicy", and definitely not "floral" type. I am open to new ideas, but this one just isn't me. As another reviewer mentioned, it is more of a masculine scent, if it can be categorized. My wife didn't care for it either. Would I want to smell it on her all night? Probably not.On the other hand, it's a long lasting product. And I can totally see some people going for its unique, novel angle...just don't expect true Bergamot citrus.

This scent called Bergamot and Vetiver, Type One, by GUESS, has a fragrance that will work equally for men and women. After my first spray on my skin, I was taken back by its simplicity and freshness, and how this scent is truly not typical or boring.The top notes are a mix of strong Bergamot, Lilly, and a slightly sweet mint character, which as it drys down, the bergamot notes becomes effervescent, almost like a semi sweet bubbling wine. The base of this fragrance sees those semi- sweet mint accords, mix with a subtle Vetiver base, while the bergamot is still prominent throughout this scents final dry down.One of my favorite attributes of this Guess scent, is that it’s not overpowering, and it will not adversely affect people who are sensitive to fragrances. I really like the mint note that plays throughout this scent, giving it an energetic, and fresh vibe. And great magnetic cap on this bottle as well.

After wearing this for a couple days and letting my wife have a whiff. It's safe to say that this fragrance leans towards a more masculine side, evoking memories of being in cigar shops. It's not what I'd call a unisex scent; rather, it seems tailored for mature gentlemen who appreciate a robust aroma.I believe this would make an excellent gift for a dad who still carries that air of coolness about him. However, I don't think it would resonate with the younger crowd. Upon the initial spritz, the fragrance bursts forth with the boldness of bergamot, but it gradually mellows, revealing a more pleasing scent.Given that it's an Eau de Parfum, its longevity on the skin is impressive. I experienced over 3 hours of wear without needing to reapply, though it's worth noting that a little goes a long way with this fragrance. Avoid heavy spraying if you want to savor its nuanced character.
