Great pain relief
I have used K-Tape for other applications with good results, but never for bunions – I didn’t even know there was a taping technique for that. I have tried toe-spacers and a bunion splint, and while they have had some benefit, I also had issues that made them not a good solution for me. This set of pre-cut tape strips comes with enough for 6 bunion taping applications (3, if you tape both feet). The packet that the tape strips come in have excellent information including tips (proper shoes, exercises to relieve bunion pressure, orthotics tips, etc.), step-by-step application instructions, a QR code for more information, and more. The tape is decent quality and has good adhesion. My experience: My toes don’t appear significantly straighter with the tape applied, but I can really feel a difference. I mostly notice that I can walk around my home barefoot without pain (I usually have to wear something with cushioned soles). I get pain relief barefoot or with shoes on, and it stays on for a couple of days, even with showering (I just trim off the edges that start to come up.) It is a little difficult to get the right amount of stretch for the proper tension, especially in the wider piece that goes across the joint. When I accidentally pulled the tape too tight, it made my foot have weird sensations and a little achy when I had that piece pulled too tight. But when I get it right, it is instant relief to my toes and walking. This starter pack is great for the pre-cut pieces and all the tips and information that comes with it. But once you know how to tape bunions, you can cut your own pieces from your own K-Tape for cheaper. But to start out, I highly recommend this.

Comfortable but potentially expensive approach
I have mild to moderate bunions on both feet and have tried the correctors, toe splints, toe separators, etc. with limited success. Some are so painful to wear while others did practically nothing. I saw these toe tapes and thought it looked like a nice compromise so I ordered them. They are a little tricky to apply just right but that is because I was also trying to make them “invisible” when worn with normal shoes. It is possible but took some finagling with the precut strip that went horizontally across the bunion. The adhesive clung to my foot for several days but I purposely avoided lotion in the area so that helped. I realize they are advertised as sweat proof, etc but have to admit that they did make my feet hotter than normal and there was very light friction. My feet are a very average width but I could feel the wraps and didn’t care for the thought that I was wearing them for 3 days before changing them out. I placed my feet in ziploc bags to make sure they didn’t get wet when showering but then I didn’t feel clean so…..I ordered a pack of 12 which got me through several weeks of experimentation. I think they offer some comfort but it would be expensive to wear these everyday. Also, I live in a very warm climate and would not wear these during the late spring, summer or early fall as that is sandal season. Yes, I am slightly vain and no way are hot pink strips going to be flashed about on my feet - tacky. Maybe if your bunions are much worse than mine and you are in constant pain it is worth the money and sacrifice but I am going to look for another option.4 star rating is because they perform exactly as outlined with 1 star deducted because of the friction when worn with shoes.

Stuck on NOT Sticking!
As a person with high arches, I know how much of a pain it is to have bunions (literally). I'm not joking when I say that I have high arches. When I take off my shoes, they look like elf boots, with the toe bed pointing directly up to the North Pole! In the past, the only option for people who suffered with bunions was surgery. I had friends that did this, and OUCH! This tape was advertised as a product that, worn over a period of time, can actually train the bunions to behave, or at least to be a little straighter. I was really hopeful to try these out. When I pulled them out of the box, I loved the pre-perforated strips to just tear and go. The strips on the first foot held ok. By the time I wrapped the second foot, no dice! I could not get any of the tape to hold onto my foot. I thought maybe it was because I moisturize my feet, but no. I tried the next EIGHT pieces, and nothing stuck!!! It's like the adhesive on the whole box had just evaporated. At this point, I am stuck with a bunch of un-sticky tape that will probably only be good for tossing in the trash. I decided to buy a higher grade sports tape and am crossing my fingers. This one's a no for me, dawg.

Great functionality, the tape stayed in place, too!
This toe tape for bunion relief and support is an excellent product. After injuring my toe, this tape has provided the necessary support to aid in the healing process while allowing me to stay active. The adhesive quality is great, allowing the tape to be applied easily and stay in place securely under my sock and shoe. The functionality of this tape is excellent. It is highly durable and can be worn comfortably all day on my feet. The ability to customize the fit to my specific needs is a great feature. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, making this tape a great choice for addressing turf toe or other big toe injuries that require targeted support.
