Maui Gold Pineapple

You have not tried true pineapple until you purchase Maui gold as the saying goes it is worth its weight in gold total I have bought 6 and I plan to buy more in the future. They are absolutely sweet, addictive and leave you wanting more.

I got these for my daughter for Christmas. She said it’s the best pineapple she’s ever had very sweet.

WONDERFUL! Highly recommend as a gift!

As my previous attempt at a review was never posted, I'm trying again with milder language and no photo. First, credit where credit is due: my pineapples arrived two days early, so shipping on this product is clearly excellent. But the pineapples themselves were overripe and tasted of mold. Large sections were soft and dark yellow, and, near the bottom, full of brown spots. Yes, both fruits were sweet, but it wasn't the complex sweetness of fresh pineapples I've eaten in Hawaii, French Polynesia, and Southeast Asia; it was the sweetness of age and bruising.Judging by the other reviews, I obviously just got unlucky, which would have been less distressing if I had known I was gambling. I'm not unreasonable; I know produce is perishable, and merchants have no control over how their products are handled during shipping. But I think buyers should be aware that "value for money" on this product is more variable than those other reviews would suggest, so it's definitely not something to send as a gift.

Mild and extra sweet, low acidity (as pineapples go). However, I should have known better than to order fruit from Hawaii to NY in August. They arrived incredibly fast - leass than 3 days from order to delivery, but they're already past their prime. I'll have to eat them up tonight!

It was okay, but I’ve bought pineapples in the store that tasted better.

Liked everything about it, they were Christmas gifts for family.
