Nice one-piece, grab-n-go, head, ear & neck cover with brim
It has a nice stiff brim, and the white piping on the brim is light-reflective. The ear/neck flap folds down & back up easily, quickly converting from ball cap to hat with ear & neck warming. The fabric is a lightweight, smooth, finely woven, snag-resistant nylon exterior. It and the brim covering readily accept silicone waterproofing spray for ultimate rain & snow resistance. The inside has a very thin layer of soft, felt-like fleece that's comfortable on the head and ears. The total thickness of the fabric sandwich is approximately 1/8" or less. The fabric is a little noisy in your ears when you turn your head back-and-forth when the flap is down. It's not quite like the snug fit you get on your ears from an elastic knit beanie; there's a tiny air gap where strong winds can still get to your ears a bit. There is a tension adjustment on the rear of the flap to help it fit as close as possible. Even so, it feels warm and stops radiation heat loss on your ears even if there is a little air gap.The hat goes on and comes off your head easily, with the flap either down or up. Its ideal for wearing with a jacket that has a hood, because the brim/visor keeps the hood from falling down in front of your eyes. In this case you get two layers of insulation (hat/flap + hood) and a sun/rain visor. The fabric of the hat will fold easily and collapse against the front curve, making it relatively easy to stow in a large-ish zip pocket. The brim is stiff and can't be folded without creasing/damaging it so it doesn't stuff into a pocket quite as easily as a knit cap.20250105 UPDATEThis is still my go-to winter hat and I have discovered that it is perfect to pair with a lightweight hoodie base layer, such as those long sleeve running shirts that have hoods. Put the hood up over your head first, which is a very soft and flexible fabric, and then put the hat on your head with the flaps down. This makes it quieter on your ears, prevents air from blowing under the flap, and keeps the hat very secure. Then finally, you flip up the hood on your jacket over the hat and let me tell you it's very warm and comfortable. If you get warm, it's easy to fold the flaps of the hat back up inside of it and it still fits on your head okay.I have added a fifth star now that I have experience with this hat for a couple of seasons and learn how to match it with the running shirts with hoods.

Quality Winter Cap
This winter cap is very well made of quality waterproof nylon polyester material with fleece lining and ear flaps that cover entire ears and can be rolled up and down as needed. The hat is lightweight not bulky like a lot of winter hats while providing a lot of warmth. There is a strap and elastic cord adjustment for perfect fit. I bought this for my husband he really liked it so I ordered a second one. I highly recommended 🤗.

Warm
This cap has two adjustments making it an excellent fit. Wore it in the rain and cold and it sheds water while keeping your head and ears warm. Does not fit like a baseball cap and feels like it sits high on the head but overall a good bad weather cap.

Nice hat!
I love this hat! It is exactly what I wanted. It will be great this winter. I like the fact that the flap can be opened to cover the back of my head and ears, which is what I had been looking for. It's not too warm or too thin...just right.

If I could have tried this hat on, I would not have purchased it.
I like the color of the cap. I like that the drawstring on the back of the cap tightens the flaps against the ears. I am not happy with the fit, the way it sits on my head. It does not fit like a ball cap with space between the top of my head and the top of the cap. No, it sinks down and rests on the top of my head more like a stocking cap. I suppose that is due to the lightweight quality of the hat. No structure to the hat. I can live with the fit even though I don't like that feel. What disappointed me the most is that the ear flaps do not stay up as shown in the pictures. They just flop around in midair. The hats I had when I was a kid, the flaps stayed in place when they were in the top position. When the flaps are hanging in midair instead of tight against the cap it looks pretty goofy. I suspect that fifty percent of the time I am going to wear the hat with the flaps up. If I would have been aware of this defect, I would have purchased hats with a strap between the flaps to hold them against the cap when there were in the top position. Again, the pictures with the flaps up are misleading, buyer beware if this is a concern of yours.

This winter ball cap fits the "bill"!
I needed a ball cap for the winter months that would keep my head and ears warm. I do a lot of driving and the sun in the winter can be brutal when it's low in sky. I needed a cap with a bill that would shield my eyes while driving. The Connectyle Waterproof Winter Hat really fit the "bill" (sorry about that)! It's light weight and sheds water and snow. Plus, the ear flaps are a bonus and protect my ears from wind chills. I don't mind if I kinda look like Elmer Fudd while I'm wearing it because the protection it offers is the important thing. The bill is a nice size and does a good job protecting my eyes from the winter glare. I'm very pleased with this cap and I love how adjustable it is! Now where's the pesky wabbit?

Comfortable
This was a gift for my husband. He likes that he can tuck the flaps up under his head and it looks like a ball cap and is comfortable. It is warm with the flaps down and they can be tightened by the string in the back for a better fit to keep the wind out.
