We have been feeding The Honest Kitchen grain free base mix to our Golden Retriever for years now. We add it into her dinner for extra fiber with her diet kibble to help keep her weight at normal. Just recently we started incorporating The Honest Kitchen Whole Grain Chicken Kibble for extra protein as she gets older. She loves it! We started our 4 month old puppy on The Honest Kitchen puppy blend and she loves it too! They even take it as a reward treat! The kibble is not oily like most kibble and is crunchy and light and is easy for both dogs to chew. Highly recommend, it's a high quality, human grade food with ingredients you can feel good about!!

This is not hard as most kibble. Our 2lb, 7 week old poodle puppies loved this. It was easy for them to bite pieces off, to eat in little bits. To soften it took a couple drops of water and was still chewy for our puppies. Mom was always trying to eat it, which has mom approval. Always a great thing. No “meal” either

My pup loves it. His coat is so shiny and soft. His poo nuggets are nice and solid.I had my old man on the adult version his last 6 months of life and his poo improved and his coat improved as well. He had been on Pro plan for years.

I had dachshunds years ago both of which came down w/ cancer late in life. The Honest Kitchen was part of my protocol for end of life care and both lived longer than the vet said was likely. I wish it had been around earlier in their lives as I would have been feeding it then. Ob v cf course I supplemented their diets with a high quality vitamin (Nuvet), a bit of grass fed meat and organic vegetables. I now have an Irish Wolfhound and she is doing great on this food. It is not cheap but, as a breeder told me years ago, you can pay now or you can pay later.
